I'm not going to sit here and gloat about the big games that both Adam Jones and Troy Tulowitzki had last night. Well, I guess by putting Jones as the cover picture I am gloating a bit but I think this is a real important time for many DFS MLB players. The season isn't over yet. We are just six weeks into 2016 and already many of us have decided to write off certain player and annoint others as the next big thing. Relax. In daily fantasy baseball you can truly never write any player off, except of course for Sonny Gray, who is dead to all of us. But we have a very real opportunity here to use our baseball knowledge and experience and turn that into real money playing DFS. We all know that players like Tulo and Adam Jones are not done. They are struggling. Their skills may have diminished but if you think that you are only going to use players who make you feel warm and fuzzy, you're just not going to win in DFS. Both of these guys may not do anything the rest of the week or month, but playing them in a situation like last night when you needed a value player for near minimum price, they came through. That was the base of our discussion over on the Optimal Lineups message board yesterday and judging by the response, it paid of handomely for many of our users.

Today we get what is known in my house as "Black Death." This means a total split slate of DFS MLB games in which I will run both slates of games for the DFS MLB Rankings & Playbook and then do separate Optimal Lineups for the early and late slates. A profitable night last night makes this workload a little easier I must say. The good news is that we get a double dose of the Padres/Cubs as both games of the double header will be a part of each slate. Maybe my memory is shot but this is one of the first times I can remember this happening. Ususally DFS sites just offer one of the games for us to use. So, basically I can just say to stack Cubs in both slates and save us all a lot of time. Not buying it? Damn...guess we have to keep going.

The only weather concerns today are in Minnesota where there is a 50% chance of rain late. I would say that this shoulnd't the actual completeion of this game but with how absurd the cancellation was on Monday I do not want to assume anything. The Tigers/Nationals game also has rain in the area with a 30% chance early on but that also should clear up and not pose a threat.

Here is the DFS MLB Playbook for Wednesday May 11th:
