Johnson has now pitched three consecutive days and will likely be unavailable on Wednesday, meaning either Darren O'Day or Brian Matusz will serve as the team's closer. 19 PC-13 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Darren OâDay (R)âEarned his 10th hold of the season Monday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit on nine pitches thrown. O'Day has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a chance he will be give the day off on Tuesday, so don't be surprised to see Brian Matusz in the setup role. 9 PC-8 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Brian Matusz (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing three runs on five hits before being pulled in favor on Tommy Hunter. This was Matusz's worst outing of the season, so hopefully he will be able to turn things around next time out. 24 PC-19 ST (6/9/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Solid Andrew Bailey (R)--Was charged with his second blown-save of the season on Monday night after allowing two runs on two hits and three walks in the ninth inning. (SU) Koji Uehara (R)âPitched 2.0 innings of relief on Monday night retiring all six batters he faced in order. Uehara has pitched back-to-back days, but has thrown the least amount of pitches between the top three in the Red Sox bullpen, so he may be inline to close on Tuesday if a save situation arises. 16 PC-13 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Monday allowing one run on two hits in the appearance. With both Andrew Bailey and Koji Uehara pitching back-to-back days, there is a chance Tazawa is used in the close role if a save situation was to come up. 20 PC-12 ST (6/10/13)
Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)âWas charged with his second blown-save of the season Tuesday night after allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter in the ninth inning. (SU) Jesse Crain (R)âEarned his 17th hold of the season on Monday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief. Crain has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a good chance he will be given the night off on Tuesday, so those in holds leagues will want to plan accordingly. 27 PC-19 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Matt Thornton (L)âPicked up his 14th hold of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. (SU) Joe Smith (R)--Was used in the ninth inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. The big blow came off the bat of A.J. Pierzynski in the appearance, but it was too little too late with the Indians having a comfortable lead. 24 PC-13 ST (6/11/13)
(MR) Bryan Shaw (R)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter on 15 pitches thrown. (SU) Hector Ambriz (R)--Took the loss on Sunday after allowing two runs on four hits in the eighth inning. With this appearance Ambriz falls to 1-3 on the season but should continue to get work in the eighth inning considering the quality arms in the Astros bullpen. 16 PC-10 ST (6/9/13)

Wright has struggled for much of the season, but the Astros will likely continue to let him take the hill, considering they are not going to win many games this season. 9 PC-7 ST (6/11/13)Kansas City Royals(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)âCollected his 13th save of the season on Monday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out two batters on 14 pitches thrown. Wilhelmsen has slipped somewhat over the last few weeks, but has managed to keep his composure and finish games, so it appears good times will be ahead. 20 PC-13 ST (6/10/13)
(SU) Carter Capps (R)âEarned his sixth hold of the season Monday after pitching 0.2 innings of relief allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Capps has now pitched just twice since last Wednesday, so expect to see much more of him in the upcoming days. 11 PC-7 ST (6/10/13)

Injured-- Rafael Betancourt (Groin)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Solid Kenley Jansen (R)âRecorded his third save of the season Tuesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out two batter on 10 pitches thrown. The Dodgers named Jansen the closer prior to Tuesday's game, after Brandon League blew his fourth save Monday night, so this was a great way for his to start his tenure as the team's closer. 10 PC-8 PST (6/11/13)(SU) Brandon League (R)âTook the loss and was charged with his fourth blown-save of the season Monday after surrendering four runs on four hits and one walk in the ninth inning. League had been pitching better as of late, but there is no way the Dodgers will be able to continue with him as their closer, so expect a chance in the near future, with Kenley Jansen eventually taking over the role. 25 PC-14 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Ronald Belisario (R)âPitched 2.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one run on two hits while striking out two batters. (SU) Mike Dunn (L)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one walk while striking out two batters. Dunn has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a good chance he will not be available out of the Marlins bullpen for Monday's series opener with the Brewers. 25 PC-17 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) A.J. Ramos (R)--Pitched 2.1 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one walk on 25 pitches thrown. This was the longest outing for Ramos this season, and will likely still be available on Sunday despite pitching more than one inning in this 20-inning affair. 25 PC-16 ST (6/8/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)--Took the loss and was charged with his first blown-save of the season Tuesday after surrendering two runs on two hits in the eighth inning. This was not a save situation, but the Brewers had him out there in the eight inning, which makes me believe they may keep Francisco Rodriguez in the closer role for now. 24 PC-17 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Francisco Rodriguez (R)--Recorded his fourth save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning for the second consecutive day. With Jim Henderson slated to return on Sunday, this was likely Rodriguez's last save chance outside of spot-saves, so those counting on him to be used in the ninth inning will need to find a replacement. 18 PC-10 ST (6/8/13)
(MR) John Axford (R)âEarned his 10th hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching 0.2 innings of relief retiring both batters he faced in order. (MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)âRecorded the final out of the eighth inning on Tuesday night allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. (SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Earned his 19th hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Melancon was able to bounce back from a disappointing outing last time out, and what it even more impressive is that he has now struck out five batters over his last 2.1 innings, which is unlike him. 23 PC-15 ST (6/7/13)
(MR) Tony Watson (L)--Earned his 10th hold of the season Tuesday night after recording just one out in the seventh inning. Watson only needed five pitches to work through the appearance forcing the only batter he faced to ground out. 5 PC-4 ST (6/11/13)
