Uehara has now pitched consecutive days, but kept a low pitch count in both contests, so there is a possibility that he will he available for the series opener against the Angels. 10 PC-7 ST (6/6/13) (MR) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. He allowed one hit in the appearance, but worked around it needing only eight pitches to force two ground ball outs to get the job done. 8 PC-5 ST (6/5/13) (MR) Wesley Wright (L)–Failed to record an out his appearance on Friday night allowing one run on one hi in the eighth inning. Perkins has now pitched four straight scoreless relief appearances striking out five batters over that time frame, but has just five saves dating back to the middle of May, which limits his fantasy value. 17 PC-12 ST (6/8/13) (SU) Jared Burton (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. With this appearance Cook is now sitting on a 1.93 earned-run average, with is just shy of closer Grant Balfour, who now has a 1.37 earned-run average. 13 PC-6 ST (6/7/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Took the loss on Saturday after surrendering three runs on three hits and one walk in the eighth inning. Doolittle has really started to struggle over the last few weeks of the season, and ha now allowed six runs over his lat three appearances, which total only 1.1 innings. 14 PC-9 ST (6/8/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Solid Tom Wilhelmsen (R)–Recorded his 15th save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. McGee left the contest early with a shin injury after taking a grounder off his log, so he should be considered day-to-day until more information is received. 14 PC-11 ST (6/6/13)Texas Rangers(CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)–Recorded his 18th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only 6 pitches to get the job done. This was not a dominating performance from Nathan, with three ground ball outs and zero strikeouts, but this just shows how effective he still is as he nears the back end of his career. 6 PC-5 ST (6/5/13) (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday night allowing one walk while striking out two batters in a tied ballgame. Scheppers has now pitched back-to-back days, so he should not be expected to pitch on Saturday, so owners in  holds leagues should plan accordingly. 16 PC-7 ST (6/6/13) (MR) Jason Frasor (R)–Pitched one inning of scoreless relief on Saturday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 19 pitches thrown. Had the Rangers known the game was going to go 18 innings they probably would have kept him on the mound for an extra frame, but at least now he will be fresh for Sunday. 19 PC-11 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Was charged with a blown-save on Saturday after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk in the ninth inning. This marked just his second blown-save of the season, which forced an 18-inning affair, but in the end the Blue Jays were able to pull away and log the victory. 24 PC-15 ST (6/8/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Earned his second hold of the season on Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Cecil has now pitched back-to-back days, but will likely be available Sunday considering his low pitch counts in both games. 8 PC-7 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Sergio Santos (Triceps)Continue to Page 2 to view the National League Bullpen Report...National League Bullpen Report Arizona Diamondbacks(CL) Shaky Heath Bell (R)–Recorded his 11th save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Bell has been excellent since taking over the closer role following J.J. This was just his second appearance this week, so expect to see more of him over the next few days. 14 PC-11 ST (6/8/13) (MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Pitched two innings of relief on Thursday night allowing two runs on three hits and one walk. Reynolds needed 38 pitches to work through this appearance, which has likely earned him a day off, so don't expect to see him take the mound on Friday night. 38 PC-24 ST (6/6/13) Injured: J.J. Putz (Elbow)Atlanta Braves(CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)–Collected his 18th save of the season on Saturday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Kimbrel has been pitching great as of late, and appears to have completely moved passed the rough stretch of his season, so consider him the best option in the ninth inning once again. 18 PC-11 ST (6/8/13) (SU)  Cory Gearrin (R)--Recorded only one out in his appearance on Thursday night allowing four runs on three hits and one walk in the eighth inning. This was Gearrin's worst outing of the season, so expect the Braves to give him a few days off so he can clear his head. 16 PC-9 ST (6/8/13) (MR)  Jordan Walden (R)--Earned his second hold of the season Saturday night after retiring the final batters of the eighth inning. Walden only needed five pitches to get through the appearance, forcing one fly ball out to get the job done. 5 PC-4 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Jonny Venters (Elbow),  Eric O’Flaherty (Elbow)Chicago Cubs(CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Picked up the win on Wednesday despite allowing one run on two hits and one walk in 1.1 innings of relief. It wasn't the best of outings from Gregg, but after weeks of not contributing fantasy wise, it was nice to see him finally factor into a decision. 30 PC-16 ST (6/5/13) (SU) Carlos Marmol (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning Friday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Marmol has struggled as of late, but this showing did not indicate that, as he needed only 10 pitches to work through the appearance forcing one ground ball out while striking out two batters to get the job done. 10 PC-7 ST (6/7/13) (MR) James Russell (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Russell needed 25 pitches to get through the appearance, which was his second straight, but a scheduled day off on Thursday should give him enough rest to be back at it on Friday. 25 PC-13 ST (6/5/13) Injured--Kyuji Fujikawa (Forearm)Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Surprisingly, Chapman did not register a strikeout in this contest, which a bit surprising considering he has at least two punch outs in eight of his last nine appearances. 11 PC-7 ST (6/8/13) (SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)–Earned his 11th hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. After a terrible outing one week ago, Broxton has now put together two straight solid outings, and appears to be trending back in the right direction. 20 PC-11 ST (6/8/13) (MR) J.J. Hoover (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 16 pitches thrown. After a shaky start to the season, Hoover has settled down nicely, and should see enough hold opportunities to make him worth owning in deep holds leagues while Sean Marshall is out with an injury. 16 PC-10 ST (6/4/13) Injured--Sean Marshall  (Shoulder)Colorado Rockies(CL) Shaky Rex Brothers (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday night in a non-save situation allowing three walks while striking out one batter on 25 pitches thrown. Lopez has now pitched three consecutive days, so expect him to get a day off on Saturday. 2 PC-1 ST (6/7/13) Injured-- Rafael Betancourt (Groin)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Shaky Brandon League (R)–Picked up the win on Friday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 14 pitches thrown. Jansen recorded two strikeouts in the appearance while forcing two fly ball outs to keep the game tied at one heading into the bottom have of the eighth inning. 22 PC-14 ST (6/7/13) (MR) Ronald Belisario (R)–Recorded the first out of the eighth inning on Wednesday night throwing only four pitches in the appearance. Belisario has now pitched back-to-back days, so don't expect o see him used on Thursday. 4 PC-3 ST (6/5/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Committee Steve Cishek (R)–Collected his sixth save of the season on Saturday after pitching a scoreless 20th inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Surprising;y Cishek was not used earlier in the game, as the Marlins elected to use one of their starters for most of the extra frames, which allowed him to be available to seal the victory late in the game. 7 PC-5 ST (6/8/13) (CL) Committee Mike Dunn (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing two walks while striking out one batter on 20 pitches thrown. Dunn has now logged three straight scoreless appearances, but he has allowed base runners in all three outings, which will eventually come back to haunt him if he keeps it up. 20 PC-9 ST (6/8/13) (CL) Committee A.J. Ramos (R)--Pitched 2.1 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one walk on 25 pitches thrown. This was the longest outing for Ramos this season, and will likely still be available on Sunday despite pitching more than one inning in this 20-inning affair. 25 PC-16 ST (6/8/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Shaky Francisco Rodriguez (R)--Recorded his fourth save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning for the second consecutive day. With Jim Henderson slated to return on Sunday, this was likely Rodriguez's last save chance outside of spot-saves, so those counting on him to be used in the ninth inning will need to find a replacement. 18 PC-10 ST (6/8/13) (SU) John Axford (R)–Earned his ninth hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless seventh inning striking out two batters on 17 pitches thrown. Axford has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect to see him get the day off on Sunday. 17 PC-10 ST (6/8/13) (MR) Michael Gonzalez (L)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one walk on 17 pitches thrown. This was Parnell's first appearance since his meltdown on Tuesday, and he appears to have shaken it off after a sharp outing in this game. 13 PC-9 ST (6/8/13) (SU) Brandon Lyon (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Saturday allowing one hit and one walk on 14 pitches thrown. Lyon got himself into a jam, but was able to work his way through it forcing two ground ball outs to get the job done. 14 PC-9 ST (6/8/13) (MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one hit and one walk on 14 pitches thrown. This appearance was his first since last Sunday, so with a week of no action, expect him to be used often over the course of the next few games. 14 PC-7 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Papelbon wasn't available the last few days due to an undisclosed illness, so fantasy owners need not worry now that he was back on the mound in this contest. 13 PC-8 ST (6/4/13) (SU) Mike Adams (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Thursday night allowing one run on one walk needing 13 pitches to get through the appearance. Adams has yet to come into a zone since returning from the disabled list, but he has pitched good enough to make him serviceable in holds leagues. 13 PC-5 ST (6/6/13) (MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 14 pitches thrown. After allowing runs in his last two appearances, Bastardo ended that streak in this contest, but is hard to trust at this point in the season. 14 PC-11 ST (6/6/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)–Recorded his 23rd save of the season on Friday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing two hits while striking out three batters on 25 pitches thrown. Melancon was able to bounce back from a disappointing outing last time out, and what it even more impressive is that he has now struck out five batters over his last 2.1 innings, which is unlike him. 23 PC-15 ST (6/7/13) (MR) Tony Watson (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday retiring both batters he faced in the final frame needing only nine pitches to get the job done. Pirates starter A.J. Burnett recorded the first out of the inning, but game up a home run to Alfonso Soriano, so Watson came in to nail down the victory. 9 PC-7 ST (6/8/13) Injured-- Jose Contreras (Back)San Diego Padres(CL) Shaky Luke Gregerson (R)–Recorded his second save of the season on Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. After a rough outing his last time on the mound, Thayer bounced back nicely and appears to be back on track, son considering adding him in deep holds leagues. 11 PC-8 ST (6/8/13) (MR) Joe Thatcher (L)--Took the loss on Friday night after failing to record an out in the ninth inning allowing a game-winning home run to Nolan Arenado. Thatcher has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Saturday. 3 PC-2 ST (6/7/13) Injured--Huston Street (Calf)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 20 pitches thrown. This appearance wasn't as dominating for Romo has we have seen through most of the season, but he was able to seal the win for the Giants and pickup the save for his fantasy owners., so that is all that matters. 20 PC-15 ST (6/4/13) (SU) Jeremy Affeldt (L)--Took the loss on Friday night after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the eighth inning. Affeldt gave up a three-run home run on Paul Goldschmidt in the inning, which allowed the Diamondbacks to take the lead after failing to score prior to the inning. 18 PC-8 ST (6/7/13) (MR) Javier Lopez (L)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Saturday night allowing one walk while striking out one batter on 13 pitches thrown. This was just his first appearance since May 29, so expect to see much more of Lopez over the next few days. 13 PC-7 ST (6/8/13) Injured--Santiago Casilla (Knee)St. Louis Cardinals(CL) Solid Edward Mujica (R)–Collected his 18th save of the season Thursday after recording the final two outs of the ninth inning. The Cardinals had a seven-run lead going into the ninth inning, but Keith Butler allowed three runs in the inning, forcing the Cardinals to use Mujica to seal the deal for the 18th straight time. 6 PC-4 ST (6/6/13) (SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 18 pitches thrown. Rosenthal has been pitching great as of late, and if he had pitched this way earlier in the season, he would likely have held onto the closer role when he had a chance, but he has no chance now considering how well Edward Mujica has been pitching. 18 PC-13 ST (6/7/13) (MR) Randy Choate (L)--Failed to record an out in his appearance on Saturday allowing a hit to the only batter he faced. Choate has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering he threw just two pitches in this contest, he should be able to pitch if needed on Sunday. 2 PC-1 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Jason Motte (Elbow), Fernando Salas (Shoulder)Washington Nationals(CL) Solid Rafael Soriano (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday in a non-save situation allowing three hits while striking out one batter on 20 pitches thrown.
