(SU) Tommy Hunter (R)--Took the loss on Thursday after allowing a game-winning home run to Adam Dunn in the bottom of the ninth inning. O'Day appears to have been passed by Tommy Hunter on the depth chart, but the fact fact he was used in the eighth inning tonight shows the team still has faith in him to get the job done. 15 PC-11 ST (7/5/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Shaky Koji Uehara (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation retiring the side on only seven pitches thrown. (SU) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Earned his 15th hold of the season Friday after recording the final two outs of the eighth inning. Tazawa allowing one hit in the outing, but was able to work around it to take the game into the ninth inning. 13 PC-10 ST (7/5/13)
(MR) Andrew Bailey (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Thursday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Bailey hadn't been used in a game since last Friday, as the team continues to limit his work due to control issues, so expect him to be used in non-significant roles for now. 12 PC-7 ST (7/4/13)
Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)âPicked up the win on Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning on a non-save situation. (SU) Jesse Crain (R)âTook the loss on Saturday after allowing one run on three hits in the eighth inning. The earned run allowed by Crain in this contest was his first surrendered since April 12, which brings his season total up to three on the season. 18 PC-12 ST (6/29/13)

(MR) Joe Smith (R)--Was charged with a blown-save Thursday after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the seventh inning. It had been over a week since Street took the mound, to the Padres in tended on using him in the game no matter the situation . 8 PC-5 ST (7/5/13)(SU) Luke Gregerson (R)âTook the loss on Wednesday after allowing a walk-off home run to Jonny Gomes in the top of the ninth inning. Gregerson had pitched a great eighth inning before blowing the game, which is odd considering Huston Street was available to pitch in this contest. 16 PC-10 ST (7/3/13)

(MR) Javier Lopez (L)--Took the loss on Wednesday after allowing one run on one hit between the 10th and 11th innings. This was Lopez's longest outing of the season, so expect him to get the day off on Thursday. 28 PC-12 ST (7/3/13)

(SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Earned his 18th hold of the season Friday after striking out the side in the eighth inning. Rosenthal has been inconsistent as of late, so it was nice to see a dominant performance from the Cardinals flamethrower. 11 PC-10 ST (7/5/13)
(MR) Randy Choate (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Sunday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Choate threw only seven pitches in the contest, forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out while striking out one batter to keep the game within reach for the Cardinals. 7 PC-7 ST (6/30/13)
Injuredâ Jason Motte (Elbow), Fernando Salas (Shoulder)Washington Nationals(CL) Solid Rafael Soriano (R)--Recorded his 23rd save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring the side on nine pitches thrown. Soriano has now been used in back-to-back games, but the fact he only threw nine pitches should mean he will be available on Saturday. 9 PC-7 ST (7/5/13)
(SU) Drew Storen (R)--Picked up the win on Thursday despite allowing three runs on three hits in the seventh inning. Storen has now allowed seven runs over his last two appearances, so maybe some time off is in need so that he can clear his head and salvage what seems to be a lost season for him. 26 PC-17 ST (7/4/13)
(SU) Tyler Clippard (R)âPicked up his 15th hold of the season Friday after pitching a 1-2-3 eighth inning needing only 13 pitches to get the job done.
