He failed to make it through the inning after recording only two outs, and is now sitting on a 2-6 record for the season. 18 PC-7 ST (6/26/13) (SU) Darren O’Day (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 18 pitches thrown. After allowing three runs over his previous two appearances, O'Day was able to get back on track in this one, so hopefully he will be able to continue trending in the right direction. 18 PC-14 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Brian Matusz (L)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Thursday needing only four pitches to force the only batter he faced to fly out to end the seventh inning. Matusz has now pitched three of the last four days, so expect him to be given the day off on Friday. 4 PC-2 ST (6/27/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Shaky Koji Uehara (R)–Recorded his third save of the season Thursday after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning needing 16 pitches to work through the appearance. Uehara has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a chance he will be given the night off on Friday. 16 PC-10 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Andrew Bailey (R)--Picked up his fifth hold of the season Sunday despite allowing one run on two hits in the seventh inning. Bailey has pitched terrible over the last week of the season, and if his struggles continue, look for Junichi Tazawa to move past him on the Red Sox depth chart. 9 PC-6 ST (6/23/13) (MR) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Tazawa has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a chance he will be given the night off on Friday. 10 PC-6 ST (6/27/13) Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Picked up the win despite being charged with his third blown-save of the season Tuesday after allowing one run (unearned) on one hit in the ninth inning. After LaTroy Hawkins allowed a walk-off single to Alexei Ramirez in the bottom half of the inning, the decision fell to Reed, who is now 3-0 after this blown-save performance. 17 PC-13 ST (6/25/13) (SU) Jesse Crain (R)–Took the loss on Sunday after allowing three runs (zero earned) on two hits and one walk in the eighth inning. This was Crain's first blown-save of the season, but none of the runs were charged to him, so he is still sitting on a 0.52 earned-run average for the year. 30 PC-19 ST (6/23/13) (MR) Matt Thornton (L)–Picked up his 16th hold of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless seventh inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Chris Perez is going to be activated prior to Thursday's game, so Pestano will return to the setup role, where he has been much better than in his short stint as closer. 18 PC-10 ST (6/26/13) (MR) Joe Smith (R)--Picked up the win on Wednesday despite allowing two runs on three hits in the eighth inning. Smith got lucky in this one, after Jim Johnson blew the save in the bottom half of the inning, which led to his mark in the win column. 21 PC-13 ST (6/26/13)Detroit Tigers(CL) Shaky Joaquin Benoit (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday in a non-save situation allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batters on 29 pitches thrown. This was Benoit's first appearance since Sunday, so despite his high pitch count, he should be available on Friday. 29 PC-18 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Phil Coke (L)--Took the loss on Thursday after surrendering two runs on three hits and one walk in the 10th inning. Coke recorded just one out before being pulled in favor of Luke Putkonen, who was able to escape the 10th inning without allowing the Angels to score any more runs. 20 PC-11 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Al Alburquerque (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday allowing one walk while striking out one batter on 15 pitches thrown. After pitching back-to-back days, he will likely be given the night off on Thursday despite having pitching only twice since last Saturday. 15 PC-8 ST (6/27/13) Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)Houston Astros(CL) Solid Jose Veras (R)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 14 pitches thrown. Quietly, Veras has really picked up his production as of late, and has now earned seven saves out of his last 10 appearances.  14 PC-8 ST (6/26/13) (SU) Hector Ambriz (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 14 pitches thrown. Ambriz has been one of the bright spots on the Astros this season, and has a chance of earning some saves in the second half of the season, if the team decides to trade Jose Veras. 14 PC-10 ST (6/25/13) (MR) Wesley Wright (L)–Picked up his seventh hold of the season Wednesday after striking out the only batter he faced to end the seventh inning. Wright threw only four pitches in the appearance, so expect him to be available, if needed, on Thursday. 4 PC-3 ST (6/26/13)Kansas City Royals(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation striking out the side on 11 pitches thrown. Holland has been one of the best closers in the American League for most of the season, and has now lowered his earned-run average to 1.86 through 29.0 innings pitched. 11 PC-9 ST (6/26/13) (SU) Aaron Crow (R)–Picked up the win on Wednesday after pitching a scoreless 10th inning allowing one hit and one walk on 16 pitches thrown. It wasn't the best of outings from Crow, but he was able to hold onto the lead and help the Royals escape with the victory. 16 PC-8 ST (6/26/13) (MR) Tim Collins (L)--Took the loss on Tuesday night after allowing the game-winning home run to Jason Heyward in the seventh inning. With Kelvin Herrera out of the picture once again, Collins has a chance of gaingin some fantasy value in holds leagues, so be sure to keep an eye on him in the upcoming weeks. 20 PC-16 ST (6/25/13)Los Angeles Angels(CL) Solid Ernesto Frieri (R)–Earned his 19th save of the season Thursday after pitching a 1-2-3 10th inning. Frieri has now pitched back-to-back days, but has shown in the past that he is capable of pitching at a high level three days in a row, so expect him to be available for Fridays's series opener with the Astros. 13 PC-8 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Kevin Jepsen (R)--Picked up the win on Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 14 pitches thrown. Jepsen has now pitched back-to-back days, and considering his injury history, there is a good chance he will be given the night off Friday. 14 PC-9 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Scott Downs (L)–Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one hit on only nine pitches thrown. Downs has now pitched consecutive days, but his pitch counts  have been low, so he will likely be available Friday for the Angels series opener with the Astros. 9 PC-5 ST (6/27/13) Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow), Sean Burnett (Elbow)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)–Recorded his 20th save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 20 pitches thrown. It wasn't the best showing from Perkins, but he was able to escape a tight jam to seal the victory for the Twins. 20 PC-12 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Jared Burton (R)–Picked up his 15th hold of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 13 pitches thrown. This was Burton's first appearance since Sunday, so expect to see much more of him in the upcoming days. 13 PC-10 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Casey Fien (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Fien needed only 12 pitches to work through the frame, forcing two ground ball outs while striking out one batter to get the job done. 12 PC-9 ST (6/26/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)–Picked up the win on Tuesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Rivera entered the game with a tied score, and after Tanner Scheppers' allowed a walk-off home run, Rivera ended up with the win. 11 PC-10 ST (6/25/13) (SU) David Robertson (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit and one walk on 16 pitches thrown. Robertson got himself into a jam, but was able to force two ground ball outs to keep the game deadlocked at three runs a piece. 16 PC-9 ST (6/25/13) (MR) Boone Logan (R)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Wednesday retiring both batters he faced via strikeouts. Logan threw only nine pitches in the appearance, so he should be available Thursday despite pitching consecutive days. 9 PC-8 ST (6/26/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Solid Grant Balfour (R)–Took the loss on Sunday after surrendering three runs on two hits in the 10th inning. Balfour entered the game in a non-save situation, which seems to be the downfall for many closers this season, and allowed a home run to Kendrys Morales to end the game. 13 PC-8 ST (6/23/13) (SU) Ryan Cook (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Tuesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Cook only needed 11 pitches to work through the frame, forcing two ground ball outs while striking out one batter to keep the Athletics on top. 11 PC-9 ST (6/25/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday night allowing two hits while striking out one batter on 12 pitches thrown. Doolittle got himself into ajam, but was able to forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out to secure the lead heading into the ninth inning. 12 PC-9 ST (6/25/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Committee Oliver Perez (L)--Picked up the win on Sunday after pitching two innings on scoreless relief allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batters on 29 pitches thrown. Perez continues to pitch well out of the bullpen for the Mariners, and is now sitting on a 0.98 earned-run average on the season. 29 PC-20 ST (6/23/13) (CL) Committee Carter Capps (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Tuesday night allowing two run son three hits while striking out four batter on 30 pitches thrown. Capps continues to struggle with his command and will now likely get the day off Wednesday after recording a high pitch count in this contest. 30 PC-20 ST (6/25/13) (SU)  Tom Wilhelmsen (R)--Pitched 0.2 innings of scoreless relief on Wednesday retiring both batters he faced in order. Wilhelmsen needed only eight pitches to work through the frame, forcing two fly ball outs to make it through his second straight scoreless relief appearance. 8 PC-5 ST (6/26/13) Injured–Stephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Shaky Fernando Rodney (R)–Collected his 16th save Monday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 20 pitches thrown. Rodney has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a chance he will be given the night off on Tuesday. 20 PC-13 ST (6/24/13) (SU) Joel Peralta (R)–Earned his 19th hold of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Peralta made it through the inning with ease, forcing three fly ball outs on 11 pitches thrown to get the job done. 11 PC-7 ST (6/23/13) (MR) Jake McGee (L)–Picked up his 14th hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless seventh inning allowing one walk on 20  pitches thrown. McGee has really started to shine after a disastrous start to the season, and may become a solid player to own in holds leagues if he continues to perform at this level. 20 PC-12 ST (6/25/13)Texas Rangers(CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)–Earned his 26th save of the season Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning needing only nine pitches to get the job done. Nathan retired the side in order, forcing two fly ball outs while striking out one batter to earn his fifth save in seven days. 9 PC-6 ST (6/26/13) (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)–Picked up his 16th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Scheppers bounce back nicely from a poor outing on Tuesday, which was nice to see from a young up-in-coming pitcher. 8 PC-4 ST (6/26/13) (MR) Jason Frasor (R)–Failed to record an out in his appearance on Thursday allowing a walk to the only batter he faced in the sixth inning. Frasor has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering his low pitch count, he should be able to pitch Friday if the team need his services. 7 PC-3 ST (6/20/13) Injured– Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Collected his 17th save of the season on Saturday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out two batters on 13 pitches thrown. Janssen has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect to see either Steve Delabar or Brett Cecil used in the closer role on Sunday. 13 PC-18 ST (6/22/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday night allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 18 pitches thrown. Delabar has been one of the biggest surprises this season in holds leagues and should be a must-own at this point when considering his high strikeout total. 18 PC-14 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Brett Cecil (L)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Thursday allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batters on 21 pitches thrown. After a shaky few outings, Bell bounce back nicely in this contest, but his days as closer are number, with J.J. Putz only a few rehab outings away form returning to the Diamondbacks bullpen. 11 PC-8 ST (6/27/13) (SU) David Hernandez (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Hernandez looked sharp in this appearance, striking out the side on 18 pitches, and has now recorded five strikeouts over his last 2.0 innings of relief. 18 PC-11 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Tony Sipp (L)--Recorded the final out of the seventh inning on Tuesday needing six pitches to force a fly ball out to get the job done. Sipp has been used sparingly over the last few weeks, so expect him to get more work in the upcoming days. 6 PC-3 ST (6/25/13) Injured: J.J. Putz (Elbow), Matt Reynolds (Elbow)Atlanta Braves(CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)–Recorded his 22nd save of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and two walks on 23 pitches thrown. Kimbrel got himself into a jam, but was able to force one fly ball out and strikeout two batters to walk away unharmed and with a Braves victory. 23 PC-12 ST (6/25/13) (SU) Luis Avilan (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Wednesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Avilan needed only 20 pitches to work between the seventh and eight innings, forcing one ground ball out and three fly ball outs while striking out one batter to keep the Braves in the game. 20 PC-12 ST (6/26/13) (MR)  Jordan Walden (R)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Walden has now pitched back-to-back days, so don't expect to see him take the mound at any point on Thursday. 16 PC-12 ST (6/26/13) Injured– Jonny Venters (Elbow),  Eric O’Flaherty (Elbow)Chicago Cubs(CL) Solid Kevin Gregg (R)--Recorded his 12th save of the season Wednesday despite allowing one run on two hits int he ninth inning. Gregg has been slipping as of late, having allowed earned-runs in back-to-back games for the first time this season, but has yet to blow a save in 12 attempts. 15 PC-10 ST (6/26/13) (SU) James Russell (L)--Pitched one inning of relief on Thursday retiring all three batters he faced in order. After recording the final two outs of the eighth inning, the Cubs elected to keep him in the game to face the first batter of the ninth inning, needing only 11 pitches to make it through the appearance. 11 PC-8 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Shawn Camp (R)--Pitched 0.2 innings of scoreless relief on Thursday allowing one walk on only seven pitches thrown. Camp was used to record the final two outs of the ninth inning in a non-save situation and was able to do so in orderly fashion. 7 PC-3 ST (6/27/13) Injured--Kyuji Fujikawa (Forearm)Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)–Recorded his 19th save of the season Sunday despite allowing one run on two hits in the ninth inning. This was Chapman's second straight poor outing, but at least this one didn't turn into a loss for the Reds. 24 PC-15 ST (6/23/13) (SU) J.J. Hoover (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Hoover struck out one batter while forcing two fly ball outs to work through the appearance, which was one of only a handful of perfect innings he ahs had all season. 17 PC-10 ST (6/25/13) (MR) Tony Cingrani (L)--Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday allowing one run on two hits while striking out two batters on 24 pitches thrown. This was the first run allowed by Cingrani since being moved to the bullpen, but on a positive note, he has now struck out six batters in his last 2.2 innings of relief. 24 PC-15 ST (6/26/13) Injured--Sean Marshall  (Shoulder), Jonathan Broxton (Elbow)Colorado Rockies(CL) Shaky Rex Brothers (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 15 pitches thrown. Brothers looked great once again in this contest, and is now sitting on a 0.27 earned-run average, which is remarkable considering his home ballpark. 15 PC-11 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Matt Belisle (R)--Took the loss on Thursday after allowing two runs on three hits in the eighth inning. With this appearance Belisle falls to 4-5 on the season, and has now allowed six earned-runs over his last two appearances. 26 PC-20 ST (6/27/13) (MR) Wilton Lopez (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one hit and one walk on 29 pitches thrown. This appearance marked the first time he has pitched since last Saturday, so expect to see him available over the next few days. 29 PC-16 ST (6/26/13) Injured-- Rafael Betancourt (Groin)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Solid Kenley Jansen (R)–Recorded his seventh save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 19 pitches thrown. Jansen has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a good chance we will see Brandon League used in the closer role on Friday. 19 PC-13 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Brandon League (R)–Failed to record an out in his appearance on Tuesday night allowing two runs on three hits in the ninth inning. League has been terrible most of the season, so there is a good chance he will be used in less meaningful roles for a while to regain some of his confidence. 18 PC-11 ST (6/25/13) (MR) Ronald Belisario (R)–Picked up his seventh hold of the season on Thursday after recording the final out of the eighth inning. He allowed one hit before escaping the inning, needing only five pitches to strikeout one batter to get the job done. 5 PC-4 ST (6/27/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Solid Steve Cishek (R)–Recorded his 14th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Cishek has been on fire as of late, having converted all of his last eight save chances, but has now pitched back-to-back days, so he could get a day off on Thursday. 19 PC-11 ST (6/26/13) (SU) Mike Dunn (L)--Picked up his 11th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Dunn has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect Chad Qualls to be used in the setup role if needed on Thursday. 27 PC-19 ST (6/26/13) (MR) A.J. Ramos (R)--Picked up the win on Tuesday after pitching two scoreless innings of relief allowing one hit while striking out three batters. Ramos threw 35 pitches in the appearance, so there is a good chance he will be given the day off on Wednesday. 35 PC-22 ST (6/25/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Committee Jim Henderson (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday allowing one walk on 18 pitches thrown. Henderson continues to be used in both the eighth and ninth inning, as the Brewers continue to not tip their hat as to who they would rather have in the closer role between Henderson and Francisco Rodriguez. 18 PC-10 ST (6/27/13) (CL) Committee Francisco Rodriguez (R)--pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday in  a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Rodriguez forcing two fly ball outs while striking out one batter to get the job done in a meaningless inning, but the fact he was used after Jim Henderson indicates his stay in the closer role may not be over just yet. 11 PC-10 ST (6/27/13) (MR) John Axford (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on only seven pitches thrown. Axford has been pitching very well over the last month of the season, and has now lowered his earned-run average to 4.09, which is great compared to where he was just one month ago. 7 PC-4 ST (6/26/13)New York Mets(CL) Solid Bobby Parnell (R)–Recorded his 14th save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. Parnell is quietly becoming one of the better closers to own in the National League, and has now recorded a save in five straight outings. 11 PC-7 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Brandon Lyon (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Sunday allowing two hits while striking out two batters on 22 pitches thrown. Lyon was in charge of shutting down the final two innings of game, which the Mets had a commanding lead, and was able to do so with ease. 22 PC-15 ST (6/23/13) (MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Picked up the win on Thursday after pitching a scoreless seventh inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Hawkins improved to 3-1 following this performance, which was his second outing in three days. 14 PC-10 ST (6/27/13) Injured– Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)--Recorded his 15th save of the season Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless 13th inning. Papelbon had blown four of his last five save chances heading into this contest, so hopefully this solid outing gets him heading int he right direction. 15 PC-10 ST (6/26/13) (SU) Mike Adams (R)--Pitched a scoreless 10th inning on Wednesday allowing one hit on 12 pitches thrown. Adams is enduring arguably his worst season in the big leagues, but outings like this show that he could be trending back in the right direction. 12 PC-8 ST (6/19/13) (MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter on 17 pitches thrown. Despite allowing one run, Bastardo did not pitch all that bad, and has actually pitched well over the last month of the season. 17 PC-9 ST (6/27/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)–Was used in a non-save situation on Sunday surrendering three runs on five hits in the 10th innings. Grilli has not pitched well in two of his last three appearances, but that is to be expected at least once by every pitcher each year. 28 PC-22 ST (6/23/13) (SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Earned his second save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing two hits while striking out one batter. The Pirates wanted to give Jason Grilli an extra day off, electing to turn to Melancon in the ninth inning, which turned out just the same as if Grilli was in the nail down the ninth inning. 17 PC-12 ST (6/26/13) (MR) Tony Watson (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Once again, ,Watson got the job done for the Pirates, forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out on 13 pitches thrown. 13 PC-8 ST (6/25/13)San Diego Padres(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)--Pitched a scoreless 12th inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. This was Street's first appearance since last Sunday, so expect to see a lot more of him in this weekend's series with the Marlins. 11 PC-7 ST (6/26/13)(SU) Luke Gregerson (R)–Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday night allowing one run on one hit in the eighth inning. Thayer have now pitched back-to-back days, but with a scheduled day off on Thursday, he should be ready to go for this weekend's series with the Marlins. 11 PC-6 ST (6/26/13)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Saturday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out three batters on 20 pitches thrown. Romo has been striking out a lot of batters over his last few appearances, raising his total to six strikeouts in his last 3.2 innings of work. 20 PC-15 ST (6/22/13) (SU) Jeremy Affeldt (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one hit on only nine pitches thrown. Affeldt had allowed three runs in his previous two games, so it was nice to see him bounce back in this contest. 9 PC-5 ST (6/22/13) (MR) Javier Lopez (L)--Recorded the final out of the seventh inning in his appearance on Wednesday night needing only one pitch to get the job done. Lopez has now been used four of the last six days, but should be available Thursday considering his low pitch counts over those contests. 1 PC-1 ST (6/26/13) Injured--Santiago Casilla (Knee)St. Louis Cardinals(CL) Elite Edward Mujica (R)–Was used in a non-save situation on Tuesday night allowing two hits and one walk in 0.2 innings of relief. Mujica was quickly removed from the contest after clearly not having his best stuff, but as we know, some pitcher are just better in save situations. 18 PC-11 ST (6/25/13) (SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 17 pitches thrown. Rosenthal was used to get the final out of the seventh inning, and was able to do so, just not in a ordering fashion. 17 PC-11 ST (6/23/13) (MR) Randy Choate (L)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday retiring all four batters he faced in order. Choate struck out two batters in the appearance while forcing two ground ball outs to get the job done. 15 PC-11 ST (6/23/13) Injured– Jason Motte (Elbow), Fernando Salas (Shoulder)Washington Nationals(CL) Solid Rafael Soriano (R)--Pitched a scoreless 10th inning on Thursday in a non-save situation allowing one walk on 13 pitches thrown. Soriano has now pitched three straight days, so he will likely be unavailable on Friday. 13 PC-7 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Drew Storen (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday striking out the side on just 15 pitches thrown. This was a dominating performance by Storen, who has been very inconsistent this season, so hopefully he can keep moving in the right diretion afte this performance. 15 PC-10 ST (6/27/13) (SU) Tyler Clippard (R)–Picked up his 12th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 eighth inning needing 17 pitches to work through the frame.
