Entering the ninth inning there wasn't a save opportunity on the table until Tommy Hunter failed to get the job done, so the Orioles turned to Johnson to seal the deal, which he did after facing only two batters. 9 PC-5 ST (6/9/13) (SU) Darren O’Day (R)–Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Sunday retiring all three batters he faced in order. O'Day looked sharp in this contest, striking out all three batters he faced, which marked the first time he has done that this season. 14 PC-10 ST (6/9/13) (MR) Brian Matusz (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing three runs on five hits before being pulled in favor on Tommy Hunter. This was Matusz's worst outing of the season, so hopefully he will be able to turn things around next time out. 24 PC-19 ST (6/9/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Solid Andrew Bailey (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one walk while striking out two batters on 24 pitches thrown. Uehara got yanked after facing six batters in the inning, and luckily for him the game didn't swing in the wrong direction following this terrible outing. 31 PC-18 ST (6/9/13) (MR) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. Tazawa hasn't pitched great since moving back to the setup role, but could be a nice addition in holds leagues if he can start being used in more meaningful roles. 11 PC-7 ST (6/8/13) Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Recorded his 19th save of the season on Sunday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only 15 pitches to get the job done. Coke retired all four batters he faced in order, forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out while striking out two batters on 20 pitches to get the job done. 20 PC-14 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)Houston Astros(CL) Shaky Jose Veras (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Veras has been pitching well as of late, and has now struck out five batters over his last three innings of relief, which is not too shabby. 13 PC-10 ST (6/5/13) (SU) Hector Ambriz (R)--Took the loss on Sunday after allowing two runs on four hits in the eighth inning. With this appearance Ambriz falls to 1-3 on the season but should continue to get work in the eighth inning considering the quality arms in the Astros bullpen. 16 PC-10 ST (6/9/13) (MR) Wesley Wright (L)–Failed to record an out his appearance on Friday night allowing one run on one hi in the eighth inning. Wright has struggled so far in 2013, and may start to see his usage decline if he doesn't start to turn things around. 6 PC-4 ST (6/7/13)Kansas City Royals(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Collected his 12th save of the season on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Jepsen looked sharp in this contest, needing only 11 pitches to work through the appearance striking out one batter while forcing two ground ball outs to get the job done. 11 PC-8 ST (6/9/13) Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow), Sean Burnett (Elbow)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)–Recorded his 13th save of the season on Saturday after pitching a scoreless 11th inning allowing one hit on 17 pitches thrown. With this appearance Cook is now sitting on a 1.93 earned-run average, with is just shy of closer Grant Balfour, who now has a 1.37 earned-run average. 13 PC-6 ST (6/7/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Took the loss on Saturday after surrendering three runs on three hits and one walk in the eighth inning. Had the Rangers known the game was going to go 18 innings they probably would have kept him on the mound for an extra frame, but at least now he will be fresh for Sunday. 19 PC-11 ST (6/8/13) Injured– Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Was charged with a blown-save on Saturday after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk in the ninth inning. This marked just his second blown-save of the season, which forced an 18-inning affair, but in the end the Blue Jays were able to pull away and log the victory. 24 PC-15 ST (6/8/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Earned his second hold of the season on Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. This was just his second appearance this week, so expect to see more of him over the next few days. 14 PC-11 ST (6/8/13) (MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Was used in the eighth inning on Sunday allowing one run on two hits in the appearance. This was Gearrin's worst outing of the season, so expect the Braves to give him a few days off so he can clear his head. 16 PC-9 ST (6/8/13) (MR)  Jordan Walden (R)--Earned his second hold of the season Saturday night after retiring the final batters of the eighth inning. Hoover (R)--Took the loss on Sunday night after surrendering six runs on four hits and two walks in the 10th inning. With Jim Henderson slated to return on Sunday, this was likely Rodriguez's last save chance outside of spot-saves, so those counting on him to be used in the ninth inning will need to find a replacement. 18 PC-10 ST (6/8/13)(MR) John Axford (R)–Earned his ninth hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless seventh inning striking out two batters on 17 pitches thrown.
