Tom Wilhelmsen was used to get the save on Thursday night, but it was Perez who was used Friday making it appear like there is still a committee for the ninth inning in Seattle. 11 PC-9 ST (7/5/13) (MR)  Carter Capps (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Saturday night allowing three runs on four hits needing 23 pitches to work through the appearance. Janssen was coming off of his worst performance on the year on Thursday, so it was nice to see him get back on track in this contest. 15 PC-12 ST (7/7/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Picked a scoreless eighth inning on Monday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Hernandez has been struggling as of late, but the fact he was used in a tied ballgame in the ninth inning indicates the team has not lost all faith in him. 12 PC-7 ST (7/4/13) (MR) J.J. Putz (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation retiring the side on 13 pitches thrown. Walden continues to pitch well out of the setup role, and is now the clear cut favorite to take over the closer role if something was to happen to Craig Kimbrel. 25 PC-14 ST (7/4/13) (MR) Luis Avilan (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 27 pitches thrown. Russell threw just seven pitches in the outing, so expect him to be available Monday despite pitching back-to-back days. 7 PC-5 ST (7/7/13) (MR) Matt Guerrier (R)--Picked up the win on Sunday after pitching two scoreless innings of relief.
