Johnson has now pitched three consecutive days and will likely be unavailable on Wednesday, meaning either Darren O'Day or Brian Matusz will serve as the team's closer. 19 PC-13 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Darren OâDay (R)âEarned his 10th hold of the season Monday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit on nine pitches thrown. O'Day has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a chance he will be give the day off on Tuesday, so don't be surprised to see Brian Matusz in the setup role. 9 PC-8 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Brian Matusz (L)--Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday afternoon allowing one run (unearned) on one hit and one walk needing 23 pitches to get through the appearance. Matusz has now allowed four runs over his last two appearances, but overall he has pitched well out of the Orioles bullpen to make him worth considering in deep holds leagues. 23 PC-13 ST (6/12/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Solid Andrew Bailey (R)--Collected his seventh save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 14 pitches thrown. Despite recording just his first save since May 25, Bailey has pitched well since returning from the disabled list outside of Monday's shaky outing. 14 PC-9 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Koji Uehara (R)âPicked up his 11th hold of the season Wednesday after striking out the only batter he faced to end the eighth inning on three pitches thrown. Uehara has now out together two solid appearances since he was roughed up on Sunday, so he appears to be trending back in the right direction. 3 PC-3 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Earned his 10th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless seventh inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Tazawa had it going in this one, striking out two batters while forcing one fly ball out on 12 pitches thrown to get the job done. 12 PC-10 ST (6/12/13)
Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)âWas charged with his second blown-save of the season Tuesday night after allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter in the ninth inning. Reed has now pitched three consecutive days, which probably had something to do with his poor performance, so expect him to be unavailable on Wednesday. 21 PC-16 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Jesse Crain (R)âEarned his 17th hold of the season on Monday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief. Crain has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a good chance he will be given the night off on Tuesday, so those in holds leagues will want to plan accordingly. 27 PC-19 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Matt Thornton (L)âPicked up his 14th hold of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Thornton has now pitched three consecutive days, so expect him to be unavailable for Wednesday night's game. 10 PC-7 ST (6/11/13)Cleveland Indians(CL) Shaky Vinny Pestano (R)--Was used in a non-save situation on Wednesday allowing one run on two hits in the ninth inning. Pestano has looked nothing like the pitcher we saw dominate the eighth inning a season ago, and with Chris Perez set to return, he has little to no fantasy value outside of deep holds leagues. 26 PC-21 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Joe Smith (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday night allowing one walk while striking out three batters on 22 pitches thrown. Smith has now pitched back-to-back days, but with a scheduled day off on Thursday he should be available to pitch in the series opener against the Nationals on Friday. 22 PC-12 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Bryan Shaw (R)--Earned his third hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief allowing two hits while striking out one batter on 20 pitches thrown. This was Shaw's first appearance since last Friday, so expect to see much more of him over the next few days. 20 PC-14 ST (6/12/13)Detroit Tigers(CL) Shaky Jose Valverde (R)âWas charged with his third blown-save of the season Wednesday afternoon allowing one run on one hit in the ninth inning.  Valverde has now allowed three runs over his last four appearances, but has only one blown-save over that span, so he will likely get a few more chances to prove he can handle the job. 15 PC-11 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Joaquin Benoit (R)âPicked up his eighth hold of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Benoit has now recorded four strikeouts over his last two innings of relief, bringing his season total up to 33 in 28.0 innings. 20 PC-12 ST (6/11/13)
(MR) Phil Coke (L)--Took the loss on Wednesday after allowing one run on two hits over one inning of relief. With this appearance Coke falls to 0-4 and has yet to show any consistency through out the first third of the season. 15 PC-11 ST (6/12/13)
Injuredâ Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)Houston Astros(CL) Shaky Jose Veras (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Monday night allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 12 pitches thrown. This was just his first appearance since last Wednesday, so expect him to be used a lot more over the next few days after a long layover. 12 PC-9 ST (6/10/13)
(SU) Hector Ambriz (R)--Failed to record an out in his appearance on Wednesday allowing one run (unearned) on one hit in the eighth inning. Ambriz was quickly removed from the game after throwing just six pitches, so expect him to be available next time the Astros take the field. 6 PC-4 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Wesley Wright (L)âPitched one inning of relief on Tuesday night allowing one run on two hits. Wright has struggled for much of the season, but the Astros will likely continue to let him take the hill, considering they are not going to win many games this season. 9 PC-7 ST (6/11/13)Kansas City Royals(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)âPicked up the win on Wednesday after pitching a scoreless 10th inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Holland once again dominated the final frame, forcing one fly ball out while striking out two batters, and has now logged five strikeouts over his last three innings of work. 11 PC-10 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Kelvin Herrera (R)--Recorded the final two outs of the ninth inning Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one walk on 10 pitches thrown. Herrera has now pitched back-to-back days, so don't expect to see him take the mound on Wednesday. 10 PC-4 ST (6/11/13)
(MR) Aaron Crow (R)âTook the loss on Tuesday night after allowing one run on one hit and one walk in one inning of relief. Crow has not pitched well as of late, and has now pitched on consecutive days, so expect him to get the day off on Wednesday. 24 PC-13 ST (6/11/13)Los Angeles Angels(CL) Solid Ernesto Frieri (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. (MR) Kevin Jepsen (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday allowing one run (unearned) on one hit in the eighth frame. Jepsen has now pitched back-to-back days, but is off on Thursday so expect him to be available for the Angels series opener with the Yankees on Friday night. 18 PC-12 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Scott Downs (L)âFailed to record an out in his appearance on Tuesday night allowing one hit on just two pitches thrown. Downs has now pitched twice in the last three days totaling 0.1 innings pitched, so expect him to be used again on Wednesday if the same type of situation arises. 2 PC-1 ST (6/11/13)
Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow), Sean Burnett (Elbow)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)âRecorded his 15th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only eight pitches to get the job done. Perkins has now recorded saves in five of his last six appearances, but that streak will likely be put on hold Thursday, considering he has now pitched back-to-back days. 8 PC-5 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Jared Burton (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Burton only needed 11 pitches to work through the frame, forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out while forcing one strikeout to extend the game into extra innings. 11 PC-7 ST (6/8/13)
(MR) Casey Fien (R)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing two hits while striking out one batter on seven pitches thrown. Fien has now struck out three batters over his last two appearances, which total 1.1 innings of relief, so he appears to be coming into a zone. 7 PC-5 ST (6/12/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)âRecorded his 23rd save of the season on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing two hits and one walk on 16 pitches thrown. This wasn't the best showing from Rivera, but he was able to work through early troubles to earn his AL-leading 23rd save. 16 PC-10 ST (6/9/13)
(SU) David Robertson (R)âPicked up the win on Sunday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 14 pitches thrown. Robertson now improves to 4-1 after this appearance, which was his second in as many days. 14 PC-11 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) Boone Logan (R)âPitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. Balfour got himself into a jam, but was able to work his way through it, earning his second save in as many days. 18 PC-10 ST (6/12/13)(SU) Ryan Cook (R)--Earned his 10th hold of the season Tuesday night despite allowing two runs on two hits in one inning of relief. Cook failed to lock down the victory for the Athletics, so Grant Balfour had to be used when the team wanted to give him a day off. 15 PC-11 ST (6/11/13)(MR) Sean Doolittle (L)âPicked up his 11th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless relief. Doolittle retired all four batters he faced in order, forcing two fly ball out while striking out two batters to get the job done. 16 PC-13 ST (6/12/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Solid Tom Wilhelmsen (R)--Took the loss and was charged with his fourth blown-save after allowing five runs on three hits and two walks. Wilhelmsen is starting to fall apart at the seems, but there is no logical replacement for him in the Mariners bullpen, so his job is safe for now. 18 PC-7 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Carter Capps (R)âEarned his sixth hold of the season Monday after pitching 0.2 innings of relief allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Capps has now pitched just twice since last Wednesday, so expect to see much more of him in the upcoming days. 11 PC-7 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Charlie Furbush (L)âPitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing two walks while striking out one batter. Furbush needed 16 pitches to finally end the ninth inning, and has now pitched two of the last three days. 16 PC-7 ST (6/12/13)
InjuredâStephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Shaky Fernando Rodney (R)âPitched 1.2 innings of relief on Monday night in a non-save situation allowing two runs on one hit and two walks. Rodney threw 33 pitches in the appearance, so there is a chance he will be given an extra day off on Tuesday, so fantasy owners should plan accordingly. 33 PC-18 ST (6/10/13)
(SU) Joel Peralta (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday allowing one hit on 20 pitches thrown. Peralta continues to have the best season of his career, and if Fernando Rodney continues to struggle, he would be next in line to receive the save opportunities. 20 PC-12 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Jake McGee (L)âPitched 0.2 innings of relief on Wednesday retiring both batters he faced in order. McGee has now pitched three consecutive days, so expect him to get the day off on Thursday. 18 PC-13 ST (6/12/13)Texas Rangers(CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)âRecorded his 20th save of the season on Monday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)âEarned his 12th hold of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Scheppers needed 19 pitches to work through the frame, forcing two ground ball outs to get the job done. 19 PC-14 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Jason Frasor (R)âPitched a scoreless sixth inning on Wednesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Frasor has now pitched back-to-back days, so don't expect  to see him take the mound in relief on Thursday. 12 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
Injuredâ Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)âCollected his 13th save of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batters on 19 pitches thrown. After a rough outing on Saturday, Janssen bounced back nicely in this contest, proving why he is one of the better closers  to own in the American League. 19 PC-11 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Steve Delabar (R)âPitched one inning of relief on Monday night allowing three runs (zero earned) on three hits while striking out two batters on 32 pitches thrown. Taking his high pitch count into consideration, Delabar will likely be given the night off on Tuesday, so expect to see Brett Cecil used in the setup role. 32 PC-25 ST (6/10/13)
(MR) Brett Cecil (L)--Picked up the win on Tuesday night after pitching 1.2 innings of scoreless relief. Cecil retired all five batters he faced in the appearance in order, forcing two ground ball outs, one fly ball out and two strikeouts to get the job done. 12 PC-10 ST (6/11/13)
Injuredâ Sergio Santos (Triceps)Continue to Page 2 to view the National League Bullpen Report...National League Bullpen Report Arizona Diamondbacks(CL) Shaky Heath Bell (R)âWas used in a non-save situation on Wednesday night allowing two runs on two hits and two walks. Luckily for Bell the Diamondbacks had a big lead entering the 12th inning, so this rough outing had no effect on the outcome of the game. 24 PC-13 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) David Hernandez (R)âPitched two innings of relief on Wednesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 19 pitches thrown. Hernandez allowed three runs the night prior, so it was nice to see him trend back in the right direction. 19 PC-14 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Was used in the eighth inning on Sunday allowing one run on two hits in the appearance. After great success early in the season, Reynolds has really struggled as of late, and has now given up three runs over his last two appearances. 17 PC-12 ST (6/9/13)
Injured: J.J. Putz (Elbow)Atlanta Braves(CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)âCollected his 18th save of the season on Saturday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Kimbrel has been pitching great as of late, and appears to have completely moved passed the rough stretch of his season, so consider him the best option in the ninth inning once again. 18 PC-11 ST (6/8/13)
(SU)  Cory Gearrin (R)--Pitched two innings of relief on Monday night allowing two runs on tow hits and one walk. Gearrin has now allowed six runs over his last two appearances, so expect to see him moved to a less significant role int he Braves bullpen in the near future. 33 PC-20 ST (6/10/13)
(MR)  Jordan Walden (R)--Earned his second hold of the season Saturday night after retiring the final batters of the eighth inning. Walden only needed five pitches to get through the appearance, forcing one fly ball out to get the job done. 5 PC-4 ST (6/8/13)
Injuredâ Jonny Venters (Elbow),  Eric OâFlaherty (Elbow)Chicago Cubs(CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. Gregg has been used in one save situation since May 12, so his fantasy value has really taken a hit since coming out the gates on a tear. 11 PC-6 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Carlos Marmol (R)--Earned his fourth hold of the season on Sunday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Marmol has been very inconsistent this season, but has look sharp in his last two appearances, retiring six batters and four via strikeout. 11 PC-9 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) James Russell (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 14 pitches thrown. This was Russell's first outing in a week, so expect to see much more of him over the next few days. 14 PC-10 ST (6/12/13)
Injured--Kyuji Fujikawa (Forearm)Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)âRecorded his 17th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only eight pitches to retire the side. Chapman struck out two batters in the appearance, which brings his season total to 50 strikeouts over 29.0 innings. 8 PC-7 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Sunday allowing two walks while striking out one batter on 19 pitches thrown. Broxton has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Monday. 19 PC-10 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) J.J. Hoover (R)--Took the loss on Sunday night after surrendering six runs on four hits and two walks in the 10th inning. Hoover was terrible in the outing, falling to 0-5 on the season, and could start to see less playing time if his struggles continue. 35 PC-19 ST (6/9/13)
Injured--Sean Marshall  (Shoulder)Colorado Rockies(CL) Shaky Rex Brothers (L)âPicked up the win on Sunday after pitching a scoreless 10th inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Brothers has now pitched three of the last four days, but with a scheduled day off on Monday, he should be ready to take the mound again on Tuesday if needed. 9 PC-8 ST (6/9/13)
(SU) Matt Belisle (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Sunday allowing two runs on three hits while striking out one batter. Belisle had been pitching well as of late, so hopefully this appearance doesn't start a downward spiral. 16 PC-12 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) Wilton Lopez (R)âEarned his fourth hold of the season Tuesday night despite allowing one run on one hit and one walk in 1.1 innings of relief. Lopez needed 19 pitches to get through the appearance, forcing three ground ball outs and one fly ball out to get out of the jam. 19 PC-12 ST (6/11/13)
Injured-- Rafael Betancourt (Groin)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Solid Kenley Jansen (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order on 11 pitches. Jansen has now pitched three consecutive days, so the scheduled day off on Thursday should allow him to be available for Friday's series opener with the Pirates. 11 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Brandon League (R)âPitched a scoreless 12th inning on Wednesday night allowing two hits and one walk on 15 pitches thrown. This was League's first appearance outside of the closer role, and his production was the same, just didn't give up any runs. 15 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Ronald Belisario (R)âTook the loss on Wednesday night after allowing four runs on three hits and two walk in the 11th inning. Belisario has now allowed five runs over his last two appearances, and his hold on  spot in the Dodgers bullpen continues to get weaker as the season progresses. 26 PC-11 ST (6/12/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Shaky Steve Cishek (R)âRecorded his seventh save of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Cishek has now recorded saves in two of his last three appearances, while none of the other relievers have had opportunities, so apparently the closer-by-committee in South Beach is no longer. 12 PC-8 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Mike Dunn (L)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one walk while striking out two batters. Dunn has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a good chance he will not be available out of the Marlins bullpen for Monday's series opener with the Brewers. 25 PC-17 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) A.J. Ramos (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. This was Ramos' first appearance since a 2.1 inning performance last Saturday, so expect him to be fresh for this weekend's series with the Cardinals. 7 PC-7 ST (6/12/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)--Took the loss and was charged with his first blown-save of the season Tuesday after surrendering two runs on two hits in the eighth inning. This was not a save situation, but the Brewers had him out there in the eight inning, which makes me believe they may keep Francisco Rodriguez in the closer role for now. 24 PC-17 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Francisco Rodriguez (R)--Recorded his fourth save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning for the second consecutive day. With Jim Henderson slated to return on Sunday, this was likely Rodriguez's last save chance outside of spot-saves, so those counting on him to be used in the ninth inning will need to find a replacement. 18 PC-10 ST (6/8/13)
(MR) John Axford (R)âEarned his 10th hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching 0.2 innings of relief retiring both batters he faced in order. Axford has now put together three straight scoreless relief appearances, as he continues to bounce back from a terrible start to the season. 9 PC-5 ST (6/11/13)New York Mets(CL) Solid Bobby Parnell (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Parnell threw just nine pitches in the appearance forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out to seal the victory for the Mets. 9 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Brandon Lyon (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Lyon had a rough outing the last time he took the mound, so it was nice to see him bounce back and pitch a perfect inning. 12 PC-7 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Picked up his fourth hold of the season Sunday after retiring the only batter he faced in the seventh inning on two pitches thrown. Hawkins has now pitched back-to-back days, but with a scheduled day off on Monday, so expect hi to be available on Tuesday. 2 PC-2 ST (6/9/13)
Injuredâ Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)âWas used in the eighth inning on Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter. This appearance marked Papelbon's first outing since last Tuesday, so expect him to be extra fresh with the Phillies open up a series with the Twins on Tuesday. 8 PC-7 ST (6/9/13)
(SU) Mike Adams (R)--Took the loss on Tuesday night after recording just two outs in the eighth inning. Adams has had a rough season thus far, and if his struggles continue, he will likely be moved out of the setup role in the neat future. 13 PC-7 ST (6/11/13)
(MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)âTook the loss on Wednesday after surrendering two runs on three hits in the eighth inning. With this appearance Bastardo falls to 2-2 on the season with a 3.18 ERA, which is respectable, but the Phillies bullpen has had many issues thus far in 2013. 7 PC-7 ST (6/12/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. The Pirates middle relief allowed four runs in the seventh and eighth innings, so the team did not want to play with fire, so they used their top guy to seal the victory. 12 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Earned his 19th hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Melancon was able to bounce back from a disappointing outing last time out, and what it even more impressive is that he has now struck out five batters over his last 2.1 innings, which is unlike him. 23 PC-15 ST (6/7/13)
(MR) Tony Watson (L)--Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday allowing two runs on three hits needing 13 pitches to finally stop the bleeding. Watson has now pitched back-to-back days, so don't expect to see him take the mound for the series finale against the Giants on Thursday. 13 PC-10 ST (6/12/13)
Injured-- Jose Contreras (Back)San Diego Padres(CL) Shaky Luke Gregerson (R)âEarned his 11th hold of the season Wednesday despite allowing one run on two hits in the ninth inning. He was initially in the game for a save opportunity, but after allowing the run the Padres elected to take him out for a better matchup. 10 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Dale Thayer (R)âCollected his 13th hold of the season Wednesday after recording the final two outs of the eighth inning. Thayer faced only two batters, striking out both on just 10 pitches to carry the game into the final frame. 10 PC-6 ST (6/12/13)
(MR) Joe Thatcher (L)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter. Thatcher served up a home run in the outing, but luckily for him it was a solo-shot so there wasn't too much damage done. 11 PC-8 ST (6/12/13)
Injured--Huston Street (Calf)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)âRecorded the final two outs of the ninth inning on Sunday in a non-save situation retiring both batters he faced in order. Romo threw only six pitches in the appearance, which was his first since last Tuesday. 6 PC-5 ST (6/9/13)
(SU) Jeremy Affeldt (L)--Pitched one inning of relief on Sunday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Affeldt was used to get the final two outs of the eighth inning and the first out of the ninth inning, and did so on only 12 pitches thrown. 12 PC-7 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) Javier Lopez (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Wednesday retiring both batters he faced in order. Lopez needed only eight pitches to record the first two outs of the seventh inning forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out to get the job done. 8 PC-6 ST (6/12/13)
Injured--Santiago Casilla (Knee)St. Louis Cardinals(CL) Elite Edward Mujica (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. This was Mujica's first appearance in almost a week, so the Cardinals likely just wanted him to stray fresh, despite the game being out of reach.
(SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Picked up the win on Sunday night after pitching two innings of relief, retiring all six batters he faced in order. Rosenthal has been on fire as of late, and has now recorded six strikeouts over his last three appearances. 20 PC-17 ST (6/9/13)
(MR) Randy Choate (L)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Tuesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Choate needed only eighth pitches to get through the appearance forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out while striking out one batter to get the job done. 8 PC-6 ST (6/11/13)
Injuredâ Jason Motte (Elbow), Fernando Salas (Shoulder)Washington Nationals(CL) Solid Rafael Soriano (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out two batters. This was his first appearance since picking both games over the weekend, so expect him to be available over the next few days. 20 PC-15 ST (6/12/13)
(SU) Drew Storen (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Tuesday night allowing three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out one batter. Storen has had a few slip ups similar to this over the course of the few two months of the season, so it is hard to really trust him in holds leagues at this time, since you never know when it is going to happen. 18 PC-12 ST (6/11/13)
(SU) Tyler Clippard (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday retiring all three batters he faced in order.
