I know this looks scary, but I'm a believer Chris Sale can stay healthy this season, and potentially be a top five starting pitcher.[/caption]
With the arrival of Pitchers, (and Catchers), to spring training I thought what better time to release my 2013 Fantasy Baseball Starting Pitcher Rankings. Unlike many generic rankings, I have provided some statistical insight on why I ranked a certain pitcher where I did or why I expect a starting pitcher to perform above or below their Average Draft Position (ADP). (There may be a few names left off the list like Shelby Miller, Trevor Rosenthal, Drew Smyly, Cory Luebke, just to name a few. These pitchers were left off because at this point, in most mixed leagues, they are not yet worth rostering, either because they don't have a spot in their respective rotation or they are recovering from an injury).
Be sure to check back tomorrow as I will release a new positional ranking each day this week. Hopefully these rankings generate some discussion in the comment section below. And, if you haven't already, subscribe to our Box Score Baseball podcast on iTunes, Blog Talk Radio, or at Bretskyball.com.(Note: the +/- ECR means the difference between where I ranked a player compared to 30 experts who have posted there rankings at FantasyPros.com)
