CFB DFS QUARTERBACKS

Jaxson Dart - Mississippi vs. Arkansas ($9.0K DK/11.5K FD)

Dart is the only quarterback in the nation that currently claims a rating of 80 or better in pass and run, per Pro Football Focus. He is now arguably the single best dual-threat quarterback in college with the sixth highest overall QB rating, having thrown for 1,485 yards, 11 touchdowns and just two interceptions while also rushing for 269 yards and four touchdowns. This week he will be facing an Arkansas pass defense that is allowing 227 yards per game in the air (8.1 YPA) making Dart the top overall arm on the slate.

KJ Jefferson - Arkansas @ Mississippi ($7.3K DK/8.6K FD)

Mississippi native Jefferson has dominated the Ole Miss defense over the past two seasons. In his first start against the Rebels in 2021, Jefferson threw the ball for 326 yards and rushed for another 85 yards in a tight 52-52 loss. He finished the game with six touchdowns, three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. The return home presents an opportunity for Jefferson to get his season back on track. He ranks 78th in the country with a quarterback rating of 53.4, and Jefferson hasn't been nearly the dual-threat playmaker compared to years past. Through five games in 2022, Jefferson had 312 rushing yards and four touchdowns but this season, he only has one score and 125 rushing yards. This is the highest scoring game total of the slate and Jefferson finds himself in a “get right” spot against one of the worst pass defenses in the nation (263.8 yards allowed per game).

Behren Morton - TCU @ Baylor ($6.2K DK/8.0K FD)

Baylor is giving up the second-most points of any team in the Big 12 (28.4) and even though teams normally just run on the Bears when opposing passers do take to the air, they are giving up an efficiency rating of 144.0 (second worst in the conference). Several opposing quarterbacks have feasted against the Bears – check out Texas State’s TJ Finley who was 22-30 for 298 yards and three TDs with no pick in a week one upset.  In week four, Texas’ Quinn Ewers racked up 283 yards and a TD on 23 passes and last week UCF’s backup QB, Timmy McClain threw for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Many believe that Behren Morton is the future of Texas Tech football and tonight will go a long way showing whether or not he is up to the task. Against Houston last week Morton had his best game of the season going 14-22 for 161 yards and a TD with no picks despite not practicing all week due to a shoulder injury. At $6.2K on DraftKings he is the top value play of the slate.

Other Top Quarterbacks

Tyler Van Dyke, Miami ($8.5K DK/10.6K FD) - Van Dyke leads the ACC in passer rating (197.8), second nationally only to reigning Heisman Trophy Winner Caleb Williams' 217.7 mark for USC.

Haynes King, Georgia Tech ($7.5K DK/9.0K FD) - Through his first five games at Georgia Tech, King has nearly matched that production from his time at Texas A&M. He leads the ACC in passing yards (1,480) and touchdown passes (15) and ranks third in passing efficiency (164.4).

Andrew Peasley, Wyoming ($6.3K DK/7.6K FD) - Peasley is coming off his best game of the season after completing 16 of 25 passes (64.0 percent) for 194 yards, one passing TD, no interceptions and one rushing touchdown against New Mexico. He has 21+ DK points in three of his four games played.

CFB DFS RUNNING BACKS

Quinshon Judkins - Mississippi vs. Arkansas ($6.4K DK/9.0K FD)

It was a tough month of September for Quinshon Judkins who unexpectedly had just 213 yards through four games. It all changed in last Saturday’s wild shootout win over LSU, where Judkins carried the ball 33 times for 177 yards and accounted for two scores, one on the ground and the other through the air.  Judkins and Ole Miss will be back inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium tonight to host an Arkansas defense that has struggled at various points throughout the season which could lead to another huge performance by the Rebels sophomore.

Tahj Brooks - Texas Tech @ Baylor ($5.6K DK/8.4K FD)

Brooks is one of most valuable players for the Red Raiders. In last Saturday’s 49-28 victory over Houston Brooks had his third straight 100-yard rushing game when he had 101 yards on 21 carries and two TDs. Brooks leads Texas Tech with 523 rushing yards to go with three touchdowns and is averaging 104.6 rushing yards per game through the Red Raiders’ first five contests. Baylor now has a reputation as a team that you run on (113th in nation/allowing 184.0 yards per game) and with Behren Morton now behind center we should see the team lean more and more on their senior running back.

Raheim Sanders - Arkansas @ Mississippi ($5.5K DK/6.2K FD)

2022 first-team All-SEC runner Raheim Sanders missed the Razorbacks’ three games following their season opener where he suffered a knee injury against Western Carolina. Sanders returned to the field last week and rushed for just 34 yards on 11 carries (3.1 YPC). Those numbers are not what we’re accustomed to seeing from one of the best in the SEC, but we can look at it as a shaking off rust and getting into rhythm ahead of their big matchup tonight against Ole Miss. Last season in Fayetteville, Sanders torched the Ole Miss defense, rushing for 230 yards and three touchdowns and even if he is still not 100% $5.5K is just too cheap for this type of runner and game environment.

Jamal Haynes – Georgia Tech @ Miami ($4.8K DK/6.5K FD)

Haynes became the Yellow Jackets leading rusher this season and his performance has been one of the big surprises of the Tech offense. This is a dynamic runner with the ability to both run and catch out of the backfield and his 75.2 rushing yard per game rank sixth in the ACC and his 107.0 all-purpose yards rank fourth. His running ability will face a tough test tonight as Miami ranks second in the nation in rush defense allowing 48 yards per game but at $4.8K on DraftKings Haynes is worth a shot in GPPs.

Other top Running Backs

Audric Estime, Notre Dame ($8.1K DK/9.4K FD) - Estime has been held under 100 yards in back-to-back games by top shelf defenses but was still effective. He went for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground against Duke last week and tonight gets a breather against Louisville. The national leader in rushing (672 yards) could smash but he’s pricey.

Blake Corum, Michigan ($8.1K DK/10.0K FD) - Like Estime, Corum is expensive but can nuke the slate. He’s averaged 4.6 yards per carry in two straight weeks to start Big Ten play, totaling 171 yards and three scores and is tied for the national lead with nine rushing touchdowns.

Ray Davis, Kentucky ($6.5K DK/8.0K FD) - Davis gets a tough as nails matchup against Florida but he is a stud. Last week against Florida (another tough defense) he smashed for 280 yards rushing (third most in program history).

Henry Parrish Jr, Miami ($6.2K DK/8.3K FD) - Parrish leads the ACC’s top ground game with 331 rushing yards and three touchdowns while Georgia Tech allows over 224 yards per game on the ground.

Dominic Richardson, Baylor ($3.9K DK/6.4K FD) - I probably will not be going below Jamal Haynes and his $4.8K tag but Richardson is worth a look as a GPP-flyer. This is way too cheap but keep in mind he is still pushing through a high ankle sprain and will be limited.

CFB DFS WIDE RECEIVERS

Xavier Restrepo - Miami vs. Georgia Tech ($6.1K DK/8.3K FD)

Xavier Restrepo is one of the most dependable slot receivers in the nation and Tyler Van Dyke’s favorite target. This is a big boy passing attack and Restrepo is the main piece of one of the most improved offenses in the nation. He now has 355 yards on 24 catches plus two touchdowns as Miami comes in with the highest implied team total of the slate.

Andrew Armstrong - Arkansas @ Mississippi ($5.8K DK/7.9K FD)

Texas A&N-Commerce transfer Andrew Armstrong has emerged as KJ Jefferson’s ultimate safety net as he leads the team in receptions (27) and touchdowns (4). He is still a relative unknown in the SEC, but Armstrong has been nothing but reliable, averaging 17.2 DK points on 6.6 targets per game. In what Vegas thinks will be the highest scoring game of the slate, Arkansas should be throwing plenty, and Armstrong should get plenty of looks. He also is one of the top FanDuel point per dollar receivers on the slate.

Brock Bowers – Georgia vs. Kentucky ($6.7K DK/8.6K FD)

Georgia may not be playing at their normal ultra elite level but Brock Bowers sure is. The junior had eight catches for 157 yards and a touchdown last Saturday against Auburn, a week after recording nine catches for 121 yards and two scores against UAB- that’s 413 receiving yards and two touchdowns over his last two games. The reigning John Mackey Award winner for Best TE in the nation is a Heisman hopeful plus arguably the best non-quarterback in college football. In the Auburn game he singlehandedly carried Georgia to victory in the fourth quarter, hauling in 130 receiving yards over the final 15 minutes. Enough said.

Eric Singleton Jr. - Georgia Tech @ Miami ($3.7K DK/7.5K FD)

Ever since Ahmarean Brown's 2019-20 season, no true freshman receiver has put up numbers like Eric Singleton Jr. at Georgia Tech. Brown ended his true freshman campaign with 396 yards and seven touchdowns. In five career games, Singleton has 335 yards and five touchdowns (one in every game). He could exceed Brown's numbers tonight against Miami as the Yellow Jackets staff has totally unleashed the young thinly framed speedster in the “Z” role as Haynes King’s favorite target. DraftKings mis-price here and one of the top overall values of the slate.

Other Top Wide Receivers

Erik Brooks, Fresno State ($6.7K DK/8.9K FD)Brooks leads the team with 485 yards and four touchdowns on 34 catches. His 485 yards are fourth most in all G5.

Roman Wilson, Michigan ($6.0K DK/9.3K FD)Wilson is currently leading the Big Ten conference (tied for No. 1 nationally) with 8 touchdown receptions his current pace of 1.6 touchdowns per game would be enough to break Desmond Howard's single-season touchdown record of 19.

Jacolby George, Miami ($5.2K DK/8.7K FD) - George has scored double digit DraftKings points in every game this season with an 18.3 DK point average. With at least five targets in every game George should be busy again as the Canes have the highest implied point total of the slate.

Monaray Baldwin, Baylor ($4.4K DK/7.8K FD) - Baldwin caught just two passes for 47 yards through the first three games but now has hauled in three catches for 81 yards against Texas and then had a huge game with seven catches for 150 yards in the win over UCF. You could do much worse than the Bears junior receiver at this price.
