James Akinjo, Baylor OVER 27.3 Fantasy Score

Besides one bad game against Kansas where he went 0-for-11 shooting, Akinjo has been on a roll. This is an angry Baylor team that is going to pummel a banged-up TCU squad today and Akinjo is the leader of the offense. He has already had a ceiling game against TCU earlier in the season when he scored 20 points with four rebounds, eight assists, and three steals in 36 minutes of play. He is the Big 12 Conference leader in assists with 5.7 per game, ranks second in the league with 2.2 steals per contest, and ninth with 13.1 points per game. The point guard plays nearly every minute possible and with a 26% usage and 24.2% shot rate plus a high team total, expect Akinjo to shatter his fantasy score prop today.

Buddy Boeheim, Syracuse OVER 3.0 3-PT Made

Well, it’s Saturday afternoon and that means that there is a very good chance that Buddy Boeheim will be bombing away in the Carrier Dome. Today, Boston College visits the upstate New York campus and they come in with the #323rd ranked 3-point defense in the entire nation (36.8%). 49% of Buddy’s shots come from beyond the arc and he is averaging 2.8 3-pointers per game.

Boeheim is one of the most dangerous shooters in the country and his heaters are legendary. When he gets hot, he needs to be checked from the moment he steps inside half-court and there’s a good chance that today is one of those days. He threw up nine threes just 11 days ago in Conte Forum and don’t be surprised if he hits double digits today with the hometown crowd behind him.
