Christian Braun, Kansas -- OVER 22.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts

Braun was already a stat-stuffer for Kansas as one of its best players, but he’ll take on a ton more offensive responsibility tonight. The Jayhawks’ best player, Ochai Agbaji, is out due to COVID protocols for this road matchup at Iowa State. It leaves plenty of shot attempts up for grabs and Braun will certainly inherit some of those. Even with Agbaji playing, Braun is averaging exactly 22.5 PRA over the past ten games and had 22 PRA in the first meeting vs. Iowa State. We can reasonably expect a slight uptick in each stat category as Braun steps into a bigger role offensively.

Nate Watson, Providence -- OVER 6.0 Rebounds

If you just look at Watson’s recent game logs, you may think this rebounding line is too high since he’s had six boards or less in three of the last four games. However, he’s also had seven rebounds or more in seven of the last ten contests if you consider his full body of work as one of the best Big East big men. One of those performances came against tonight’s opponent, St. John’s, when Watson had 22 points and 11 boards in a dominating effort. We should expect him to have an advantage in the paint once again with St. John’s being one of the worst defensive rebounding teams in the country and being undersized overall.

K.D. Johnson, Auburn -- OVER 1.5 3-PT Made

First off, this Auburn/Alabama matchup should feature plenty of points and possessions on both sides with a whopping 156 game total and both teams playing at quick tempos. Even though Walker Kessler, Jabari Smith and Wendell Green headline this Auburn squad, Johnson is a pure bucket-getter and versatile scorer when called upon. His 41.7% three-point rate during conference play leads the team and he’s averaging 15.6 PPG over the past seven games. The majority of Johnson’s shot attempts come via the deep-ball and he’s made multiple three-pointers in five of the last seven games -- with three makes in four of those. With how fast-paced this game should be, it’s hard to imagine Johnson not draining at least two shots from three-point range.
