Go big or go home, I always say. As we enter the final week of the MLB regular season, I’m looking for stacks that I trust. You can mess around with the Padres or Mets if you want, but I would much rather pay up for my stacks. With so many good lineups in good situations, I think if you are going to play a stack, you may as well pay for it. As always, my stacks are listed in order of preference.

Houston Astros at Texas Rangers (Andrew Cashner, R)

George Springer, Jose Altuve, Marwin Gonzalez, Alex Bregman, Josh Reddick, Carlos Correa, Evan Gattis, Carlos Beltran, Brian McCann

The Astros have the highest OPS in baseball against righties and the highest OPS on the road. Cashner’s 3.44 ERA and 1.31 WHIP may scare some DFS players away from the Astros, but his 4.57 FIP and 5.10 xFIP certainly look inviting. Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Brian McCann andYulieskiGurriel are all batting .368 or better against Andrew Cashner.

Colorado Rockies vs. Miami Marlins (Odrisamer Despaigne, R)

Charlie Blackmon, Nolan Arenado, DJ LeMahieu, Gerardo Parra, Carlos Gonzalez, Trevor Story, Ian Desmond, Jonathan Lucroy, Mark Reynolds

The Rockies have a .854 OPS at home this season, the best in baseball. OdrisamerDespaigne has a 4.68 FIP and 6.01 xFIP, and left-handed batters have a .365 wOBA against him. I would really like this stack if the Rockies shake up their lineup, as Mark Reynolds, Jonathan Lucroy and Ian Desmond are all batting .368 or better over the last week.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres (Travis Wood, L)

Corey Seager, Kike Hernandez, Austin Barnes, Chris Taylor, Justin Turner, Logan Forsythe, Yasiel Puig, Cody Bellinger

The Dodgers have a .780 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season, and right-handed hitters have a .394 wOBA against Travis Wood. Of the players listed in the stack, only YasielPuig has an OPS under .850 against left-handed pitchers this season.

Seattle Mariners at Oakland Athletics (Daniel Gossett, R)

Nelson Cruz, Jean Segura, Mike Zunino, Mitch Haniger, Ben Gamel, Kyle Seager, Robinson Cano, Yonder Alonso

Daniel Gossett allowed three earned runs on seven hits and five walks in 3.2 innings against Seattle earlier this month. As his 1.56 WHIP indicates, Gossett has struggled all season to keep hitters from reaching base, and I doubt he will have as much success pitching his way out of trouble against the Mariners this time around. Any Seattle stack probably needs to include Nelson Cruz, who is 7-for-18 with four home runs during his five-game hitting streak. Seattle is slugging .422 over the last two weeks.
