NFL DFS Week 18 WR Coach for Fanduel & DraftKings Fantasy
Every DFS slate presents its own unique challenges, but perhaps Week 18 is the most unique of them all, because you have teams that could be resting starters! The Chargers have also said they are resting players, while the Eagles were noncommittal in the early parts of the week. Perhaps more than ever, it’s paramount to stay on top of the news to see what teams have confirmed they will be resting starters, or perhaps only playing certain guys a limited amount, because the last thing you want is to pay up for someone in DFS, just to watch them standing on the sidelines after a handful of drives. I’ve identified my favorite plays at the position this week, and there should be a receiver or two at every price point to give you plenty of options when building your NFL DFS lineups this week, headlined by Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints.
NFL Week 18 Wide Receivers
This is a living, breathing resource, and it will be updated as the week goes on, based on injury news, practice reports, etc. By Sunday, you may see some players removed who were earlier featured, or perhaps some players added as we approach Sunday kickoff.

NFL DFS WR Top Tier Picks for Week 18
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $7,700 | FanDuel: $9,100
If he’s healthy enough to play, he’s going to dominate this Chicago secondary. I mean, he already did once this year, to the tune of 115 yards and three touchdowns all the way back in Week 2. The Bears have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to slot receivers over the last six weeks, and for the entire season, they have allowed the third-most! Not only does St. Brown have a 30.4% target share and 2.49 yards per route run over his last four games, but he also boasts an insane 25.4 expected fantasy points per game, per FantasyPoints Data. Over 60% of his routes have come from the slot over the last four games, and health willing, Detroit gets him the ball early and often against this Chicago team.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys - DraftKings: $7,300 | FanDuel: $9,000
Over the last six weeks, Lamb has been the more productive receiver against single-high safety looks, which New York has played at the eighth-highest clip over the last six weeks, per FantasyPoints Data. Over Dallas’ last six weeks, Lamb is outpacing Pickens in yards per route run and targets per route run, and while Pickens has slightly better marks for the year against single-high safeties, Lamb still has a very, very good 2.99 yards per route run and 0.30 targets per route run. Don’t mind Pickens here either, and back in Week 2, Lamb cooked the Giants for 112 yards on nine grabs.
Nico Collins, Houston Texans - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $8,400
It sounds like the Texans are going to play their guys in Week 18, as they technically still have a shot at the AFC South crown. Sauce Gardner is banged up, and he could miss Week 18, which would improve Collins’ outlook significantly. The Colts have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to wideouts over the last six weeks, and Collins has posted 2.82 yards per route run and 14.0 aDOT over the last four weeks, per FantasyPoints Data. Also, Collins has crushed the Colts in his career, particularly of late, as he’s averaged 139 receiving yards per game over the team’s last four meetings.
A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $6,800 | FanDuel: $8,500
Typically, you want Brown against defenses that play a lot of man, and DeVonta Smith against zone-heavy defenses. Well, at this point, it’s Brown against any look! Against two-high safety looks, Brown has posted 2.17 yards per route run over the last six weeks, whereas Smith is down at 1.21. Furthermore, against zone coverage over the last six weeks, Brown has posted 3.39 yards per route run and 0.71 fantasy points per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. For a frame of reference, his 0.71 fantasy points per route run against zone coverage the last six weeks trails only Puka Nacua (0.99) amongst WRs with at least 75 routes run against zone coverage in that span, per FantasyPoints Data. We’ll have to ensure the Eagles are playing their starters, as Nick Sirianni was noncommittal at the beginning of the week.

NFL DFS WR Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 18
Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals - DraftKings: $6,600 | FanDuel: $7,300
Marvin Harrison had his snaps limited last week, and he ran just 12 routes in that game. Wilson, on the other hand, had an 82.9% route share and totaled 89 yards and found the end zone for the fourth straight game. I’d expect the Cardinals to be a bit cautious with Harrison Jr. in the season finale, paving the way for another big day for Wilson. A few weeks back, Wilson went for 142 yards and 2 TDs against the Rams! Wilson primarily plays out wide, and only the Lions have allowed more fantasy points per game to perimeter receivers over the last six weeks than the Rams.
Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $6,500
The Jaguars have to win in Week 18 to secure the AFC South crown, so expect them to play their guys to ensure they don’t slip up against the Titans. Over the last four weeks, Meyers has had a 24.3% target share and 26.4% first read rate, per FantasyPoints Data. He draws a great matchup against a Tennessee team that has allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to wide receivers over the last six weeks, and for the season, they’ve allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to perimeter wideouts! He crushed the Titans for 90 yards and a touchdown a few weeks back, and we’re hoping for an encore in the regular season finale.
Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants - DraftKings: $6,100 | FanDuel: $6,300
I can’t quit Wan’Dale Robinson! I feel like he’s been in the DFS WR Coach nearly every week of late! He’s just too good! Over his last three games, nearly two-thirds of his reps have come from the slot, and he’s posted 2.46 yards per route run and 0.46 fantasy points per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. Overall, he’s posted 2.11 yards per route run and a 36.3% target share over the last three weeks! Dallas’ secondary stinks; they’ve stunk against wide receivers all season long, and no team has allowed more fantasy points per game to slot receivers over the last six weeks than the Cowboys!
Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins - DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $6,800
The game script last week wasn’t kind to Waddle, who missed some time with a rib injury. The Dolphins should be playing from behind against New England, so Quinn Ewers will need to throw it more than 22 times. In Week 16, Ewers logged 30 pass attempts, and Waddle saw nine targets in that game! Four of his six touchdowns on the year have come on the road, and he’s posted 2.40 yards per route run and 0.33 targets per route run through two games with Ewers.

NFL Week 18 DFS WR Value Picks
Jahdae Walker, Chicago Bears - DraftKings: $3,400 | FanDuel: $4,000
The Bears are playing to win, and is it really a revenge game narrative for the coach? Anyways, we will be watching Luther Burden’s status, because a Chicago receiver is going to pop off in this game. If Burden were to miss, Walker could stand to gain. He had the third-highest route share amongst WRs/TEs for the Bears last week, and he caught two of his four targets for 30 yards (11.0 aDOT). He primarily played out wide, and no team has allowed more fantasy points per game to perimeter receivers over the last six weeks than the Lions. Detroit’s secondary is banged up, and neither team is opposed to playing in a shootout. Walker is a cheap play whose ownership likely jumps up a good bit if Burden – and Olamide Zaccheaus – were to miss this Week 18 contest.
Kyle Williams, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $4,300 | FanDuel: $5,300
Williams trailed only Stefon Diggs in route share last week, and while Williams didn’t get to join in on the fun against the Jets, he saw five targets and was second on the team in first-read rate (22.2%), per FantasyPoints Data. Williams nearly exclusively played on the perimeter in Week 17, and in Week 18, he’ll take on a Dolphins team that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to perimeter wideouts over the last six weeks, per FantasyPoints Data.
Chimere Dike, Tennessee Titans - DraftKings: $4,400 | FanDuel: $5,400
The Titans could play spoiler to the Jags in Week 18, as a Titans win over Jacksonville would open the door for Houston to win the AFC South with their own win over Indianapolis. The Jags have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to slot receivers over the last six weeks, and Dike leads Tennessee’s wideouts and tight ends in expected fantasy points per game (12.2), receptions (16), and target share (18.4%), per FantasyPoints Data. Also, here’s a #analysis alert: He’s recorded a receiving touchdown in every other game the past seven weeks, and if the trend continues, he’s catching a touchdown pass this week.

NFL DFS WR Fade for Week 18
DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $7,100
Smith did go for 16.2 DraftKings points against the Commanders just two weeks ago, but I’m not looking to him here this week in DFS. Washington plays a ton of two-high safety looks, and over the last six weeks, Smith has just 1.21 yards per route run and 0.25 fantasy points per route run against two-high safeties, per FantasyPoints Data. He’s averaging just five targets per game over the last three weeks, and has been held to 50 or fewer yards in five straight.

NFL Week 18 WR Play of The Week
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $7,400 | FanDuel: $8,300
Chris Olave rocks. Enough said. Only Puka Nacua has more receiving yards than Olave over the last four weeks, and he clocks in as the WR3 in fantasy points per game, and WR8 in expected fantasy points per game during that stretch, per FantasyPoints Data. The Saints draw the Falcons in Week 18, and the Falcons have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to perimeter wideouts over the last six weeks, and the seventh-most fantasy points to wideouts overall.
