While I've always been someone who lets the work do the talking, I have to say, this has been a spectacular season for NFL DFS here at Fantasy Alarm. Between the NFL DFS Playbook, the DFS Dart Board, the position coaches and all the amazing content and shows we produce, we are providing you with most of, if not all, the top plays week in and week out. We've attacked cash games to the point where we don't even sweat the lineup trains that the DFS lineup optimizers create and we have all seemingly grasped the concept of playing enough 50/50s to cover your GPP tournament fees. That's how you keep yourself from losing money each week and how you turn good weeks into great weeks. But we also want to provide you with what everyone really wants – that big GPP takedown. Yeah, everyone wants the five and six-figure wins. I want them, the Fantasy Alarm staff wants them and we know that all of you want them too. Heck, I want them for YOU more than I even want them for me, but that's a whole other story for another time. So what we're going to do this week, is focus on lineup construction. That's where it all happens. The Playbooks and coaches have been on fire for 10 weeks now so we know there is no issue with the process or our research. Turning these plays into million-dollar babies is what we want, so focusing on building winning DFS lineups is where we're going to live all week. Of course, before we get there, let's put the base-coat down and figure out who we are targeting this week.

Another big DFS week for the #FAmily and with that brings a new wave of new subscribers, so as always, I would like to welcome all of you. I love seeing all the new screen names in Discord and seeing all of these new sign-ups for the All-Pro package makes me very happy, so before we fully dive in to the NFL DFS Week 8 Watch List, please allow me to welcome all of the new members of the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily. There are a lot of you and we thank you for joining. Now it's up to us to help you cash consistently on your NFL DFS action and we are psyched to make that happen. Since you are new to the Watch List, allow me to share some thoughts real quick:

“If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.”

We take this adage to heart when it comes to playing NFL DFS. The Fantasy Alarm Playbook isn’t just about handing you a list of players and a lineup to use each week. It is designed to help you learn to be a better DFS player. It’s about teaching you the process used in selecting which players to scout and, eventually, which ones to use.

Therefore, we will begin each week with the Weekly NFL DFS Watch List which is designed to keep tabs on marquee names, chalk plays and, of course, the weekly bargains who may not see the same coverage and exposure. This piece will be continuously updated throughout the week, based on the most recent news and injuries, which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to Sunday kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this Watch List will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.

So what exactly did last week's Playbook deliver? As always, we like to check in to ensure we remain on the right path.

Scoring The Playbook Week 10

As stated up above, we are going to focus on lineup construction which means I am going to go back and dissect these optimal lineups from every week and see what trends we uncover. In the meantime, allow me to say that, yet again, the dual-tight end lineup is a winner. Paying up for T.J. Hockenson was a tough call for this past week considering we were told he was on a snap count, but the important look is how much we saved in salary just by using Trey McBride in the flex spot. That allowed us to get Keenan Allen and CeeDee Lamb, the two big spends this week, into our lineups and that is definitely a trend to watch and analyze as it appears to be a consistent formula for us. Week 11 doesn't appear to be a big spend up for tight ends with Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews and Hockenson all off the main slate, but we'll explore it further for sure. So let's check out the top plays we are looking at for this season and, once established, we'll figure out exactly how to build our DFS lineups for this week.
