2022 Player Outlook
While Austin Hooper made a lateral move between teams in terms of passing volume, he may be set up for more opportunity in Tennessee than he was in Cleveland. In 2021, Hooper split snaps with David Njoku and Harrison Bryant, blocking on 55.4% of them. Hooper sits atop the depth chart in Tennessee, and while they run a decent amount of 12 personnel groupings, fellow tight end Geoff Swaim is primarily used as a blocker when he's on the field. That said, it's hard to count on a tight end on a team that passes so little. Hooper may be a bye week streamer, but he's not someone to trust on your roster.
