2025 Player Outlook

Holton went 7-2 with a 2.19 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, 15 holds, and eight saves for the Tigers last season. The southpaw was especially tough on left-handed hitters, and he was a bit of a do-it-all guy for Detroit last year, as he even made nine starts last season! I'd expect a similar workload for him again in 2025, and after logging 94.1 IP, there's a chance he could surpass 100 this season. While he's not an elite strikeout arm, there's some room for growth in the strikeout department, and he had a 91st percentile chase rate last season. He's a solid target in AL-only formats, as he should give your team 85-100 IP this year with good ratios, and do a little bit of everything (innings, wins, saves, holds, etc.).
