Toronto Maple Leafs at Philadelphia Flyers

These teams played the other week where we saw 13 total goals and while that likely won’t be the same outcome tonight, we should still be seeing some goals tonight. Both teams come in allowing over 3.15 goals per game over the past month, which is why they both come in with implied goal totals over three today.

We are in a spot where we should see some heavy ownership for this game as it does have the highest over-under and two of the other four games are down at 5.5. The Maple Leafs are the same team they’ve been all season long and that isn’t changing tonight. John Tavares, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Morgan Rielly, and William Nylander come in at the top of the list. You can drop down and take savings wit Nazem Kadri, Patrick Marleau, Connor Brown, or Andreas Johnsson.

If you are looking to complete a game stack or just load up on the Flyers since the Maple Leafs are allowing 3.71 goals per game over the past month, you have plenty of options to pick from. James van Riemsdyk against his former team, Claude Giroux with 19 shots in his last five games, Nolan Patrick struggling right now but on the first forward line, Sean Couturier with six points in last five games, Jakub Voracek with 14 shots in his last five games, and Shayne Gostisbehere with eight shots and seven blocked shots in last five.

New York Rangers at Boston Bruins

The Bruins come in as the largest favorite on the slate sitting at -350 and they should be up there as one of the chalkiest teams on the slate. They have an implied goal total set at 4.05, which is the highest on the slate. This should make Jaroslav Halak in net tonight very popular, since they win equity for him is super high, along with the potential for a shutout since the Rangers have an implied goal set at 1.95,  which is lowest on the slate. Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak, and Charlie McAvoy should be one of the best stacks on the slate regardless of salary. If you are rolling out one lineup or 50 lineups, you need a piece of this stack tonight.

Jake DeBrusk, Charlie Coyle, and David Krejci are also firmly in the mix tonight for the Bruins and with Marcus Johansson likely coming back tonight, he should be considered as well. You can legitimately go to either power-play stack tonight and be in a good spot. For the Rangers, they come in with the lowest expected Corsi For tonight set at only 41.6 and have a super low projection for nearly all of their players. They would be the GPP option tonight if you want to go out of your way to make a stack.

Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames

The Flames are coming off an ugly loss to the Kings tonight and will be in a tougher matchup tonight against the Stars who are only allowing 1.69 goals per game over the past month. This has the Flames coming in as -160 home favorite, with a very modest 3.06 implied team total. That is usually lower than where we see them at home, but at 49.2 expected Corsi For is still something to be excited about. The Stars defense and goaltending are both good, there is no question about that, but the Flames make a viable option in both formats tonight. They might not be as highly projected as the Bruins or the Maple Leafs, but still a good option.

Look towards their top line of Sean Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau, and Elias Lindholm. Throw Mark Giordano in any lineup you can afford him tonight since he is one of the best fantasy defenders in the league.

The Stars on the other hand for offense, haven’t been great recently, scoring only 2.69 goals per game and have an expected Corsi For set at 43.3 tonight, which is the second lowest. Their top power-play stack with Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Alexander Radulov, and John Klingberg is expensive, almost too expensive for this slate. But with that said, they are very appealing in GPPs because of that and can be paired off with a cheap stack, such as Boston second power-play.

Vegas Golden Knights at Colorado Avalanche

This is certainly the most interesting game of the night, since the Avalanche are struggling right now on offense, but will likely be up against Malcolm Subban for Vegas, who has allowed three or more goals in seven of his last eight starts.

The Avs are dealing with a ton of injuries right now and their lines are a mess, there is no other way to put it. Nathan MacKinnon is by far the most expensive option and has the highest projection for them. Due to them having so many different players on the top lines, stacking them is actually easy? Well, their prices are certainly viable to pair with MacKinnon, but they are risky and inconsistent.

For the Golden Knights, they are also in a tough spot since they Avs are only allowing 2.23 goals per game over the past month. They do have a high expected Corsi For set at 49.6 tonight, so going to them in cash games is something to keep an eye on tonight. They are also hit a few injuries so stick with Mark Stone, Jonathan Marchessault, William Karlsson, Reilly Smith, and Nate Schmidt.
