CBB DFS Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Allen Flanigan | MISS | NCST | 9000 | 38 | 8200 | 36.14 |
| After transferring over from Auburn, Allen Flanigan is now in a high-usage role as Ole Miss’ lead playmaker. He boasts 31% usage and shot rates so far while averaging 20.2 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 38 DK points. Flanigan is locked into shots and offers one of the strongest cash floors on the slate because of his elite-level offensive role. He’s expensive, but Flanigan has 34+ DK in all but one game this year and should give us 35-40 DK in a notable pace-boost home matchup. | ||||||
| Judah Mintz | SYR | LSU | 8700 | 31.92 | 7600 | 32.72 |
| The LSU/Syracuse game is an attractive game for DFS purposes with a higher total and tight spread. On the Cuse side, the offense mainly revolves around Judah Mintz and J.J. Starling. The clear alpha is Mintz, who owns a 33% usage rate and 29% shot share. He has 34+ DK in four of the Orange’s five close games so far while averaging 18.3 PPG and plenty of ancillary stat production for a safe floor. He’s a top cash guard tonight as arguably the best player in a high-total matchup. Starling is worth strong consideration too. | ||||||
| Mark Sears | BAMA | CLEM | 8500 | 35.58 | 7400 | 33.42 |
| Alabama boasts one of the largest team totals tonight as favorites in a high-scoring matchup vs Clemson. We have Mark Sears and Aaron Estrada both in play as they anchor Bama’s backcourt. Sears gets the nod despite the higher price tag. He’s averaging 20.3 PPG and 9.3 rebounds/assists so far with 30+ DK in every game. Sears’ cash floor is very safe with his solidified role in the offense and ability to stuff the stat sheet with how fast Bama plays. He's a nice bargain on FD with the depressed price tag comparatively. | ||||||
| Ishmael Leggett | PITT | MIZZ | 8100 | 34.33 | 8000 | 32.10 |
| The Pitt/Mizzou game is another higher-scoring one tonight with plenty of options on both sides. Ishmael Leggett and Carlton Carrington are both in play as they anchor Pitt’s backcourt and stuff the stat sheet plenty. Leggett has been a bit more consistent with a slightly higher cash floor so far. The Rhode Island transfer is averaging 15.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists with 32+ DK in five straight games. Mizzou is a suspect defensive team right now and Leggett should rack up stats to come through in cash. | ||||||
| Rob Dillingham | UK | MIA | 7400 | 32.58 | 7500 | 30.45 |
| This Kentucky vs Miami matchup is definitely one to target on both sides with a high total and uptempo game flow. On the Kentucky side, we have multiple guys in play and that’ll be the case all season. Rob Dillingham headlines the top guards as he leads UK in usage, shot share, and assist rate while quickly becoming an alpha playmaker. Despite coming off the bench, Dillingham is playing starter-level minutes while averaging 16 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game. That stat-stuffing tendency and high offensive usage has resulted in 30+ DK in five of six games so far. He’s a strong cash or GPP play tonight. | ||||||
| Wooga Poplar | MIA | UK | 7100 | 31 | 7100 | 27.00 |
| Like Kentucky, Miami also has multiple top-end guards in play for cash or GPP lineups tonight in this high-scoring matchup. Matthew Cleveland, Nijel Pack, and Bensley Joseph should all be considered as Miami leans heavily on its starting five. Wooga Poplar might be the better per-dollar play on both sites, though. The junior is having a breakout season with a team-high 26% shot rate while averaging 18 PPG and 6.0 RPG. He has at least 26 DK in every game so far and has performed well in Miami’s tougher matchups. | ||||||
| D.J. Wagner | UK | MIA | 6800 | 27.21 | 6900 | 25.77 |
| D.J. Wagner is another top Kentucky guard to consider tonight in this high-scoring matchup vs Miami. The freshman stud started the season slower than expected, but he’s picking it up lately. Wagner has scored 22 and 28 points in the past two games with 37 and 45 DK, respectively. His shot volume and usage have both increased as well, which is a good sign that he’s feeling more comfortable offensively. He’s a prime GPP upside play on this slate. Antonio Reeves is also firmly in play for cash or GPP lineups from Kentucky’s backcourt. | ||||||
| Matthew Murrell | MISS | NCST | 6600 | 29.45 | 7000 | 27.70 |
| While Allen Flanigan is the headliner, Matthew Murrell is also a very good cash guard tonight for Ole Miss. He’s consistently taking double-digit shots and filling up the stat sheet in multiple ways for a strong cash floor. Murrell has 30+ DK in three of five games while averaging 14.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season. Ole Miss gets a considerable pace-boost here vs an NC State team that plays at the 16th-fastest tempo nationally. | ||||||
CBB DFS Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Casey Morsell | NCST | MISS | 6100 | 23.7 | 5700 | 22.04 |
| All three of NC State’s top guards are in play for GPP lineups tonight. Jayden Taylor, DJ Horne, and Casey Morsell have each shown 30+ DK upside this season and any can hit that mark tonight. Ole Miss has a below-average defense and has particularly struggled to limit opposing three-point shooters. Meanwhile, all three of these Wolfpack guards are shooting well from deep this year and can get hot in this matchup. As for Morsell, it’s a good sign that he’s put up 27 and 38 DK in the past two games vs NC State’s toughest opponents. Morsell is a better value on FD but still a GPP option on DK. | ||||||
| Joseph Girard III | CLEM | BAMA | 5900 | 23.05 | 6000 | 21.12 |
| In this pace-boost and higher-scoring matchup, Clemson’s guard duo of Chase Hunter and Joe Girard are both in play. The prices make them more GPP targets instead of cash. Still, both bring upside to exceed value. Hunter and Girard both started the season a tad slow but have picked it up recently. Hunter has 28 and 36 DK in the past two games with an uptick in offensive usage, shot volume, and overall stat accumulation. Girard has 25, 36, and 28 DK in the past three games and a notable increase in shot volume. On DK, Girard is the better value while Hunter is cheaper on FD. | ||||||
| Adou Thiero | UK | MIA | 5600 | 21.75 | 5200 | 20.58 |
| Kentucky boasts a ton of top-tier players on tonight’s slate, but Adou Thiero is a solid value to get cheap exposure to this high-scoring matchup. The sophomore wing is critical to UK’s frontcourt depth right now and he’s logging 25-30 minutes in a tight rotation. Thiero put up 35 DK vs Kansas earlier this season when he posted a double-double. That GPP upside is always there when he’s active on the boards despite not being heavily involved offensively. His versatility on both ends will be clutch in this matchup vs Miami and he can return value. | ||||||
| Latrell Wrightsell Jr. | BAMA | CLEM | 5100 | 15.08 | 4400 | 14.28 |
| Unfortunately, there aren’t many trustworthy values on Alabama’s side of this high-scoring matchup. One option is Latrell Wrightsell, who’s operating as Bama’s sixth-man and the main backup guard. The Cal St Fullerton transfer was a stud at the mid-major level last year and has started to see more minutes against tougher opponents lately. Wrightstell has logged 24 minutes in back-to-back games against Ohio St and Oregon, with 25 DK last game in the extended playing time. | ||||||
| Anthony Robinson II | MIZZ | PITT | 4800 | 16.64 | 4500 | 15.89 |
| Unfortunately for DFS, Missouri runs a deep rotation with 8-9 guys getting real playing time in any given game and the offensive usage/shot volume being spread around. Still, we have multiple values in this Mizzou backcourt despite the minutes and roles being split. Sean East, Nick Honor, and Caleb Grill are options, but Anthony Robinson is the cheapest among them for possibly similar DFS production. The freshman comes off the bench but is running the point at times. He has 20+ DK in four of the last five games and appears to be earning a larger role. | ||||||
| Michael O'Connell | NCST | MISS | 4700 | 17.8 | 4700 | 17.20 |
| NC State runs a tight rotation and Michael O’Connell is the top reserve for the backcourt. The senior transfer was a regular starter for Stanford over the past three years and brings plenty of experience to the Wolfpack bench. He’s also one of the better ball-handlers for NC State, which gives him 20-25 minutes in the rotation. O’Connell can provide ancillary stat production and just went for 25 DK two games ago vs Vanderbilt. He's worth a look at sub-5k on both sites. | ||||||
| TJ Caldwell | MISS | NCST | 4000 | 18.05 | 4800 | 16.58 |
| If you want some cheap exposure to Ole Miss’ pace-boost matchup vs NC State, then TJ Caldwell is a solid value – especially at 4k flat on DK. The sophomore comes off the bench but he’s still logging 25-30 minutes in the backcourt rotation. With the starter-level playing time, Caldwell has 17+ DK in four of five games so far and we’ll take that all day for a cash salary-saver. Honestly, he’s underpriced on DK compared to others in this price range. | ||||||
CBB DFS Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| PJ Hall | CLEM | BAMA | 9200 | 39.2 | 8300 | 37.46 |
| We know Clemson’s offense revolves around PJ Hall, which immediately puts him in play tonight in this high-scoring, pace-boost matchup. The big man brings a strong cash floor and plenty of GPP upside to the table in every game he plays. His 30% usage and 33% shot rate with strong rebounding give him that floor. When he’s dominating down low, Hall can go off for 25-30 points and 50+ DK – which he’s done twice already this season. Alabama’s frontcourt defense isn’t a strength and Hall could have his way if he stays out of foul trouble. | ||||||
| Norchad Omier | MIA | UK | 9100 | 37 | 8400 | 34.64 |
| As was the case all last season, Norchad Omier is again a force in the paint for Miami this year. He’s averaging 15.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.4 steals/blocks per game with three different 40 DK efforts in five contests. Omier brings along a ton of GPP upside to smash the slate tonight because of the uptempo game flow and solid matchup. Kentucky is struggling defensively inside without much depth behind Tre Mitchell and talented bigs have given UK issues. Remember Hunter Dickinson’s 27-point, 21-rebound game? That’s not out of the question for Omier here. | ||||||
| Tre Mitchell | UK | MIA | 8200 | 34.38 | 8000 | 33.15 |
| Since Kentucky is still without a few big men, Tre Mitchell is locked into frontcourt minutes and thus brigns a strong cash floor with the role. He has at least 28 DK in every game so far with multiple outbursts of 35-45 DK points at his best. Mitchell is filling the stat sheet in multiple ways while averaging 15 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 steals/blocks. Even in a head-to-head matchup vs Norchad Omier down low, Mitchell can still anchor cash lineups in this high-scoring game. | ||||||
| Blake Hinson | PITT | MIZZ | 7300 | 29.25 | 7700 | 27.02 |
| Pitt’s guard duo of Leggett and Carrington might be slightly better for DFS, but Blake Hinson should not go overlooked. The senior wing leads Pitt in scoring at 19.2 PPG while also boasting team-highs in usage (27%) and shot rate (32%). He has at least 25 DK in every game so far but also tends to be dependent on his shots falling for DFS return, instead of a safer floor with enough other stats. Either way, he’s a strong play tonight at a decent price. | ||||||
| B.J. Mack | SCAR | ND | 7100 | 26.7 | ||
| On the DK slate, we get B.J. Mack as an interesting GPP play who should be lower-rostered. The Wofford transfer leads South Carolina in usage (29%) and shot rate (32%) this season as the offense mostly revolves around him and Meechie Johnson, who’s also worth consideration tonight. Mack has 36 and 43 DK in two of his last three games and can pop off when he’s owning the paint. Notre Dame isn’t exactly a tough matchup, so Mack has plenty of upside here. | ||||||
| Will Baker | LSU | SYR | 6400 | 28.29 | 7000 | 26.38 |
| Will Baker has been LSU’s best player so far this season. The senior 7-footer is averaging 16.3 PPG and 6.5 RPG with a team-high 26% usage rate. He has 26+ DK in all but one game with 30+ DK in multiple contests already. Baker has seen his price rise from the previous value range, but he’s still a good per-dollar play – especially at sub-7k on the DK slate. He should be a strong cash option against a bad rebounding Syracuse team in a higher-scoring matchup and pace-boost for LSU. | ||||||
CBB DFS Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Cameron Matthews | MSST | GT | 6200 | 26.38 | ||
| On the DK slate, Cameron Matthews is a really solid cash value. The senior power forward does enough in every stat category to offer a strong floor with 20+ DK in every game. He also has the 30+ DK upside when he’s more active offensively, but his consistent ancillary stats make him a better cash play. Georgia Tech is a below-average defensive team and Miss St is projected to win comfortably here on the road. Matthews with his all-around production will be a big part of it and he should be priced higher than this. | ||||||
| Chris Bell | SYR | LSU | 5800 | 19.92 | 5400 | 17.16 |
| If you want cheaper GPP exposure to the high-scoring Syracuse vs LSU game, then Chris Bell is an upside play. Bell barely trails Judah Mintz for the largest shot rate on the team at 29%. In particular, he’s Syracuse’s best and most active three-point shooter. That bodes well against a bad LSU 3-point defense. Bell has the upside to smash value if he’s draining from deep tonight and he’s already shown that multiple times this year. | ||||||
| Jalen Reed | LSU | SYR | 5200 | 21.25 | 5600 | 19.57 |
| Jalen Reed presents another cheap way to get exposure to the higher-scoring LSU vs Syracuse game. The big man has 20+ DK in all but one game so far and tends to do just enough across the board to return value. His 24% usage rate is second on the team and he’s LSU’s best defensive rebounder. That should give him a decent cash floor again for 20-25 DFS points in a pace-boost spot here and against a poor rebounding Cuse team. | ||||||
| RJ Godfrey | CLEM | BAMA | 4900 | 19.4 | 5300 | 18.44 |
| In Clemson’s pace-boost spot vs Alabama, we have two value forwards to consider. Ian Schieffelin and RJ Godfrey are both solid values in the mid-5k range and below on DK and FD. Both have rebounding upside tonight in the higher-scoring and uptempo setting. Godfrey, despite not starting, has 22+ DK in three of five games this season and is looked upon for offense off the bench as well. His DFS point-per-minute average is very attractive to exceed value if he gets 25 minutes or so tonight. | ||||||
| Baye Ndongo | GT | MSST | 4000 | 22.5 | ||
| After sitting out the first three games, Baye Ndongo started at center for Georgia Tech last game. He put up 22 DK in 24 minutes with eight points, eight rebounds, and three blocks in the starting role. We’ll see if he gets another start tonight, but the immediate role is promising for the true freshman in his first game. On the DK slate, he’s a decent punt play at 4k flat despite tough matchup vs Miss St. | ||||||
