2023 Player Outlook
Josh Downs' stat line regressed a little in 2022 from the year before, but the two-time All-ACC receiver still had over 1,000 yards on 94 receptions with freshman quarterback Drake Maye. He has the immediate opportunity to start this season with the Colts, although it is likely that he will play out of the slot and come off the field in two wide receiver sets. However, this new offense could be surprisingly efficient with Shane Steichen at the helm and the freakishly athletic Anthony Richardson, so Downs has sneaky upside potential.
