2023 Player Outlook
With Dalvin Cook being released on June 8, the Minnesota Vikings backfield now presumably belongs to Alexander Mattison. While Mattison has looked good in Dalvin Cook's absence, averaging over 20 PPR points per game, it's a very small sample size to rely on. There are young backs like Ty Chandler and DeWayne McBride waiting in the wings for their shot, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if this backfield turns into a full-blown committee. That's not to say that he won't have value, but beware of Mattison's surge in ADP. The overreaction correction can be a doozy.
