2024 Player Outlook
In 53 games with the Guardians last season, Manzardo slashed .234/.282/.421 with five home runs, 12 doubles, 11 runs scored, and 15 RBI. While none of his quality of contact metrics jumped off the page, a 9.5 percent barrel rate and 22.1 degree launch angle is sufficient when trying to project power numbers in 2025. However, his .197 xBA from last year is very underwhelming, and he had a measly .211 average and .566 OPS against southpaws last season. He posted a .270 average and .873 OPS in the month of September after getting recalled to the big leagues. He's still very young, and we've seen some pretty impressive numbers from him during his time in the minors. Potential platoon risk, but if he taps into the offensive prowess many projected for him as he came up through the minors, we could see 18+ home runs from Manzardo this season. He's worth a flier in the later rounds of your draft, as the talent alone is worth betting on.
