2025 Player Outlook

Massey slashed .259/.294/.449 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI across 100 games for the Royals last year, and despite not being terrible against LHP last season, Kansas City protected him a bit against southpaws last season. I envision that to be the story again in 2025, with him playing on the large side of a platoon. His value takes a little bit of a hit in leagues where OBP is scored, as he's posted a career 4.7 percent walk rate through his first three big league seasons. He's a fine target in the later rounds of drafts, as he can hit for a little of pop.
