I hope you're ready for some NFL Week 15 DFS because I am fired up for this week. We've got an interesting split to the week as there is a three-game Saturday slate in addition to the 10-game Sunday main slate and Fantasy Alarm subscribers will be receiving both a Saturday and Sunday DFS Playbook. This DFS Watch List will cover players for both weekend days so if you see someone on the list without a salary, it is only because they play Saturday and this article is, unfortunately, only linked to the main slate. Something our tech team is adjusting, but for this week, it is what it is.

Now before we dive in to the weekly watch list, I just want to remind everyone that we are not in the habit of chasing the million-dollar prize here. That's not to say we don't offer GPP tournament players, advice and example lineups. It's to say that if you're playing solely to hit the big six and seven-figure payouts, well then you may as well just go and spend your money on lottery scratchers at the corner store. Believe it or not, you have just as good a chance to win there that you do to win the million-dollar prize on these DFS sites. Over here at Fantasy Alarm, we are about teaching you to be a better DFS player. If you genuinely want to make money playing DFS, you have to treat it like a job, not a get-rich-quick scheme and that is something many people have trouble doing, especially around the holidays when money is always crazy tight. That's why I implore you to play cash games, double your money and then try out a GPP contest or two.

Winning money at DFS is not an easy task and if you want to be a consistent winner, then you have to understand the grind. I have way too many people hitting me up for lineups to help them win that big-time money and I worry about people chasing. Understand that when you see people screenshotting $100K wins, they've probably invested tens of thousands of dollars chasing that one prize. They enter contests like the $555 or even contests with $1500 entry fees. Now that's great if you have that kind of money to throw around, but most of us don't. I've said it before and I will say it again. Here at Fantasy Alarm we are about “real people winning real money.” We're not chasing a dream here. We're grinding to make money. Is it glamorous? No. It can be at times, but most of the time, you're just building a bankroll. I always come back to the movie Rounders where Mike McDermott says to Joey Knish that he doesn't “have the stones…" to make the big play and Joey says, “I'm not playing for the thrill of f***ing victory here, I owe rent, alimony, child support, I play for money, my kids eat, I got stones enough not to chase card actions of f***ing pipe dreams of winning the world series on ESPN," and that's exactly the attitude you need to have. Now if you're just playing for fun, then go for it. It's your money. But if you're genuinely looking to make money playing this whacked-out game, then keep reading…

With many people being eliminated from the fantasy football playoffs and another fantastic week for DFS Playbook comes another new wave of new subscribers, so as always, I would like to welcome all of you. I love seeing all the new screen names in Discord and seeing all of these new sign-ups for the All-Pro package makes me very happy, so before we fully dive in to the NFL DFS Week 13 Watch List, please allow me to welcome all of the new members of the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily. There are a lot of you and we thank you for joining. Now it's up to us to help you cash consistently on your NFL DFS action and we are psyched to make that happen. Since you are new to the Watch List, allow me to share some thoughts real quick:

“If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.”

We take this adage to heart when it comes to playing NFL DFS. The Fantasy Alarm Playbook isn’t just about handing you a list of players and a lineup to use each week. It is designed to help you learn to be a better DFS player. It’s about teaching you the process used in selecting which players to scout and, eventually, which ones to use.

Therefore, we will begin each week with the Weekly NFL DFS Watch List which is designed to keep tabs on marquee names, chalk plays and, of course, the weekly bargains who may not see the same coverage and exposure. This piece will be continuously updated throughout the week, based on the most recent news and injuries, which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to Sunday kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this Watch List will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.

So what exactly did last week's Playbook deliver? As always, we like to check in to ensure we remain on the right path.

Scoring The Playbook Week 14

Sometimes these totals are just so out of hand. I literally wonder sometimes how I didn't build this lineup on my own. I hand-build my lineups. I do not use the Lineup Generator, personally, but that doesn't mean you can't/shouldn't. So feel free to give it a go. I'm sure it catches plenty of things I miss which is why I always tell you to build your own lineups and use my example lineups as a guideline. But a number of the above plays were ones I was really into. James Cook, Deebo Samuel, Isaiah Likely and even the Justin Fields/DJ Moore tandem. Obviously I didn't use them all in the same lineup as I like to have a little more correlation, especially in my GPP tournament lineups, but the above lineups definitely look like strong cash lineups which don't always require a ton of correlation. The results are only here to show you what is possible using the Playbook. Could you hit the nuts one day? Absolutely. That's why we always use our cash lineups in GPP contests as well. You just never know. But enough looking back. Let's see who we like for NFL Week 15 contests.
