After last night's massive schedule, we take a step back tonight, but that is not meant to discount our two-game NBA DFS slate. For obvious reasons, tonight's NBA DFS core plays are going to be heavily focused on the superstars with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Paul George making their season debuts. We also have James Harden, Joel Embiid, and LeBron James to chose from along with the return of Kawhi Leonard after missing last season. That means we are going to have hunt for some value options with names like Serge Ibaka, Kendrick Nunn, Patrick Beverley, and Norman Powell appearing on our radars. Top Plays:

Kawhi Leonard - After missing last season the Clippers forward makes his return tonight and adds another element of star power. It should not have been surprising that Los Angeles eased him back into action during the preseason, but if it is a close game, I am not sure how much I believe that to be the case tonight. Either way, I expect him to be efficient and he is priced as a solid mid-range option. 

Jordan Nwora - Nwora will be coming off the bench tonight for Milwaukee but he likely be acting as a sixth man and it is hard not to like that $4.3k price on FanDuel. When given an opportunity last season, Nwora was impressive and we do need to save some cash. 

Jrue Holiday - With all of the star power taking the court tonight, it is easy to potentially look past Holliday. The Milwaukee point guard did finish the pre-season on a high note as he played 35 minutes coming off another strong season. 

James Harden - While it was not a triple-double, I do not think anyone is complaining about a 35 point, eight rebound, seven assist performance. Harden also had to deal with Marcus Smart on opening night, and at least for opening week, he looks primed for a big season. Did we also mention that he is still priced under $10k on both sites?

Russell Westbrook - Last season, Westbrook left us disappointed more often than not, but the talent is still there, and to begin the season, the price is not. After a 19 point, 11 rebound effort (with just three assists), we still get a bargain on the Lakers' guard.
