Welcome to the DFS Optimal Lineups for NFL Week 5!

There's a lot of attention being placed on this Atlanta/Pittsburgh game, so much so that we're likely to need a piece of the action in all cash lineups. The question is who, though. The prices are high for many of them, so it's about where we're going to offset the cost. Aaron Jones is a pretty good start, given his $4300 cost, but we may also want to check out Latavius Murray , now that Dalvin Cook is expected to miss Sunday's game. We're also going to want to use Marquez Valdes-Scantling too, especially if Geronimo Allison is out which, again, looks probable. However, since we don't like stacking in cash games, he may just have to be paired with Murray and then we need another low-budget play with a relatively high floor.

For GPP tournaments, we're going to want a piece of that Atlanta/Pittsburgh game as well in some, but given what the ownership percentages are likely to be, perhaps a much more contrarian approach is needed to win. We've got a number of guys we can choose from, but we still probably want a piece. If that means Ryan Switzer and Mohamed Sanu , well, so be it.

For Fade the Chalk, I'm just tossing out all the high-priced players from the Falcons/Steelers game. Everyone is going to be all over those players, so let's just try and build a GPP lineup without them.

Anyway, lots of directions to go this week, so here are a few examples of lineups built using the Playbook, Dart Board, Lineup Genrator and the rest of the tools found here on Fantasy Alarm.
