There is one final week before the All-Star break and that means there can be funky schedules and a lot of interleague games. This is a great way to get set up for the week ahead and see what this week’s match-up look like from a stats perspective. As always, the match-up breakdown section will be updated Thursday morning for the weekend series.
DJ LeMahieu , 3B NYY – LeMahieu has been unbelievable this week no matter where the Yankees were playing. He slashed .682/.708/1.318 in 24 plate appearances, before going 3-for-6 on Sunday. That bring his counting stats to three homers, 13 RBI, and 10 runs through Sunday’s action. He’s been hitting well for a while now but this week is just straight out of a video game. For those that were questioning whether he can hit outside of Coors, he’s certainly putting those questions to bed at this point.
