Christian Wood sprained his right ankle in the first half of Wednesday's game but was able to start the second half to finish with 20 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
Deandre Ayton blistered him for his best game of the season but the key here is that Wood came back from a scary looking ankle roll and didn't miss a beat. He filled the stat sheet, is one of the fantasy darlings of the season and will try to keep it going against the lowly Pistons on Friday. As long as his ankle doesn't swell up over night (it might), Wood appears to have avoided a crisis. 12:28 am (EST)
