Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

Total: 46.5

Line: Green Bay -7

Game Play Predictions

  • Green Bay went 2-0 against the Bears last season winning 35-14 and 23-16.

  • Aaron Rodgers only played in one of the games, but he threw four touchdowns in the game he did suit up in.

  • Green Bay’s defense allowed the ninth most passing yards last year while the Bears allowed the 25th most.

  • Jordan Howard couldn’t rush for more than 54 yards in two games against Green Bay in 2017.

  • In seven of his last eight games, Jamaal Williams saw at least 15 rushing attempts and in four of the eight he saw at least 20.

  • Nobody in the NFL has caught more touchdowns than Davante Adams over the past two seasons.

  • Mitchell Trubisky had his second highest yard output of his rookie year with 297 against the Packers last season.

Pregame Props

1) The first offensive play of the 1st quarter gains 3 or more yards. 1.9 / 3.6

With two high octane offenses, and a high total in this one, there should be a lot of yards put up. I’m going YES here, despite the fact it doesn’t get you as many points.

2) Both teams score in the 1st quarter. 3.2 / 2.1

46.5 is a solid total for this one and there will likely need to get points from both sides to reach it. We’re not being asked for touchdowns specifically either, any points, which I think happens with the Bears as they give us a Field Goal.

3) Either team forces a turnover in the 1st quarter. 4.2 / 1.7

Aaron Rodgers has the greatest QB/INT ratio in the history of the league and Mitchell Trubisky only threw seven picks all of last year. Jordan Howard only fumbled once last year and Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery didn’t fumble at all. I’m going NO here.

4) Aaron Rodgers completes three or more passes on the Packers opening drive. 2.9 / 2.1

We know better than to bet against Aaron Rodgers , right? Plus, we get a bigger bonus by going YES.

 5) Chicago gains 25 or more total offensive yards on their opening yards. 3.1 / 2.2

The multiplier for YES is higher and because this question is so unpredictable, I’m going with YES
