The beauty of DFS is that no matter how nightmarish Week 14 was for seasonal fantasy owners, the daily world keeps moving forward. Nothing better than a fresh start each and every week, right? We can forget about what was and focus only on what will be. So with that, let’s take a look at new data and go through some wide receiver recommendations for Week 15.

Elite Plays

Odell Beckham, NYG – He’s a threat to take any slant to the house and the Giants will move him all over the place to avoid Darius Slay. Look for him to come out of the slot where the Lions are pretty weak in coverage.

Julio Jones, ATL – If he plays, this match-up is too tasty to pass up. I’d avoid him in cash games if possible though, just in case the decoy effect is in play and he’s not actually ready for full-time action.

Mike Evans, TB – Last two weeks have been the proverbial kick to the DFS groin, but Evans still warrants a look here against Dallas, a team that gives up the fifth-most passing yards and has allowed 21 touchdowns through the air. Volume, volume volume.

Pricey but Affordable

Jordy Nelson, GB – He’s got seven touchdowns in his last seven games and he and Aaron Rodgers a full in-sync right now. Last time he faced the Bears was a disaster. Look for him to exact revenge.

Larry Fitzgerald, ARI – While the Saints defense has improved over the last several weeks, they’re still giving up significant passing yards. Bruce Arians has Carson Palmer throwing 40 times per game and Fitz will see crazy targets in this one as they move him back and forth between the slot and the outside.

DeVante Parker, MIA – Strictly a GPP play for me. The Jets secondary is atrocious, but with Matt Moore at the helm and the work Kenny Stills sees on deep passes, he can be too hit-or-miss for cash games.

Demaryius Thomas, DEN – Looks like Trevor Siemian has locked onto DT as his go-to receiver, as evidenced by the heavy target load. The Patriots pass D ranks 20th against WR1 and is allowing an average of almost 75 yards per game to them.

Terrelle Pryor, CLE – With any luck, he and RG3 are back on the same page as this match-up with the Bills is too tasty to miss. Even in lousy weather, the two should connect against a team that ranks 25th in the league against opposing WR1 and has allowed an average of 74.5 yards per game to them.

Stefon Diggs, MIN – Thanks to a lingering knee issue, the last three games have been awful for Diggs, but he’s getting healthier. He’s still limited in practice but word is that the Vikings are just being cautious. This match-up against the Colts is so damn tasty though, you can’t pass it up. Sure, Vontae Davis will be hovering, but Diggs has the speed and ability to shake a cover corner on the decline.

Solid Value

Jarvis Landry, MIA – This is likely a volume play in GPP contests on DK, Aces or Rosters. Hard to trust Matt Moore, but if you figure the passing game will stay short and efficient, then Landry should see a healthy number of targets. If he can get the looks inside the red zone, he’ll be even better.

Sammy Watkins, BUF – Weather concerns or not, this is friggin’ Cleveland we’re talking about. Gimme lots of Sammy all day. Lots and lots of Sammy.

Jamison Crowder, WAS – Tough match-ups over the last two weeks may be enough to lower those ownership percentages which is great because Crowder is another guy I want a healthy piece of this week. The Panthers secondary continues to suck and they rank 29th against the slot receiver. Always nice to have a piece of that Monday night game if you can.

Willie Snead, NO – Patrick Peterson is going to be watching over Brandin Cooks and, if healthy, Michael Thomas. I was on Snead last week and while he didn’t find the end zone, his six grabs for 85 yards was nice for DK and the other full-point PPR sites. This week, I think he gets the volume and the score!

Taylor Gabriel, ATL – If Julio Jones is out, then Gabriel becomes a must-play in both cash and GPP games for me. If Julio plays, maybe I’ll still use him in GPP contests because it’s the 49ers.

Rishard Matthews, TEN – Last week’s match-up against the No-Fly Zone was expected to be a down week, but now facing a Chiefs team that doesn’t shadow, Matthews will get his once on the other side of the field from Marcus Peters. Keep in mind that the Chiefs still rank 23rd against WR1 and are allowing an average of 78.7 yards per game to them.

Brandon LaFell, CIN – If A.J. Green is out, I like LaFell in both cash and GPP given this price. If Green plays, though, it’s strictly GPPs for me and LaFell.

Bargain Shopping

Dontrelle Inman, SD – With or without Melvin Gordon, Philip Rivers loves to pass against the Raiders. Loves it. He threw for 359 yards and four touchdowns the last time they faced and while it was Travis Benjamin alongside Tyrell Williams that game, things have changed dramatically and Inman is now the guy to watch, not Benjamin.

Cameron Meredith, CHI – Everyone’s yammering about the return of Alshon Jeffery, but let’s face it – how much work has Jeffery had with Matt Barkley? Meredith, on the other hand has been seeing mad targets from the new QB, just like he did when the Bears first went to Brian Hoyer. Back-up QBs practice with the second-team receivers and that has put Barkley and Meredith together a whole lot more than Jeffery. The Packers cover corners are weak and Meredith will continue to see strong targets.

Kenny Stills, MIA – Deeper GPP play here. Not a fan of Moore under center, but again, it’s the Jets and throwing deep on them is not a tough task. While Parker should get more attention, Still always seems to find a way into that deep touchdown, doesn’t he? He’s got three touchdowns in his last five games and has seen a strong number of targets recently.

J.J. Nelson, ARI – With no Michael Floyd and a tasty match-up with the Saints, Nelson should see an increase in targets and not just be relied upon for the gimmicks. If he comes away from this one with only two targets again, I’m out, but for now, I’ll give him a look for FanDuel GPPs.

Ted Ginn, CAR – With the expectation that Josh Norman will be shadowing Kelvin Benjamin, Ginn becomes a nice intriguing play in GPPs. Cam Newton loves throwing those bombs to him and all he needs to do is hit on one for Ginn to return strong value.
