According to Mike Puma of the New York Post, the Mets will be present for the free agent showcase featuring Julio Teheran and Anibal Sanchez on Tuesday in Miami.

Even after adding Joey Lucchesi from the Padres on Monday, the Mets are still looking to pad their rotation depth. Teheran, 29, registered a brutal 10.05 ERA and 20/16 K/BB ratio over 31 1/3 innings (nine starts, one relief appearance) last season with the Angels and will presumably have to settle for an incentive-driven one-year deal for 2021. Sanchez, 36, had a 6.62 ERA and 43/18 K/BB ratio in 53 innings last year with the Nationals.

Julio Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a walk-off RBI single to help the Mariners to a 5-4 win on Sunday against the Padres in the Cactus League.

Rodriguez smoked a single up the middle to score Jarred Kelenic and give the Mariners the victory. You could be seeing the 20-year-old driving in Kelenic a lot over his career, but it's not likely to happen for the talented outfielder in 2021. His fantasy potential competes with any player in baseball, however, and is a must-get for any dynasty/keeper players who are serious about winning.

Garrett Hampson went 2-for-2 in Sunday's 5-2 Cactus League win over the Diamondbacks.

In addition to his RBI single in the fourth inning, Hampson also singled in the second inning. In 2020, the 26-year-old showed that he can play a multitude of positions defensively, but struggled at the plate: he slashed .234/.287/.383 with five home runs in 184 plate appearances but also stole 6 bases in 7 attempts. Hampson will compete with Ryan McMahon for the Rockies' second base job, but can also appear elsewhere in the lineup given his versatility.

Adrian Morejon struck out three with three walks while allowing a run on Sunday in a Cactus League start against the Mariners.

Morejon struggled with his command, but was able to limit the self-inflicted damage to just one run. The 22-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance in his time with the Padres -- limited as they might be -- but has not always done a great job of commanding his stuff. He has the potential to start long-term, but if he contributes for San Diego this year, it'll likely be as a reliever.

Gonzales allowed two hits and walked one. The left-hander is the ace of the Seattle staff, and will be the Opening Day hurler for the Mariners come April. While he won't pile up the strikeouts, his ability to command the zone and keep the ball in the park makes him fantasy relevant in the coming year(s.)

Joey Votto went 2-for-2 with an RBI in Sunday's Cactus League opener against Cleveland.

Votto drove in Kyle Farmer with an RBI single off of pitcher Triston McKenzie in the third inning. He saw a bit of a power revival last season with 11 home runs and a .226/.354/.446 slash line in 223 plate appearances. Six of the former MVP's home runs came in September after an adjustment to his batting stance. The plate discipline numbers remain among the best in the league, so his spot near the top of the order is safe. If he can carry over the power gains, Votto could provide a valuable return at first base or corner infield in mixed-league drafts.

James Karinchak struck out one batter and allowed one hit Sunday in his Cactus League debut against the Reds.

Karinchak allowed a leadoff single to Mark Payton in the fifth inning. He struck out the next batter and Payton was caught stealing second base for the double-play. Karinchak has some of the most devastating strikeout stuff in the majors as he posted a 2.67 ERA and 17.67 K/9 over 27 innings for Cleveland in 2020. With Brad Hand leaving in free agency, Karinchak figures to step into the closer role. Though, his struggles with control could lead to a short leash for the talented reliever.

David Peralta hit an RBI double in Sunday's Cactus League debut effort against the Rockies.

Peralta accounted for 50 percent of the run production by the D-Backs on Sunday by smacking a double to center that scored Ketel Marte in Sunday's 5-2 loss. Peralta's 2020 was notable: despite a slow start to the season, he slashed .300/.339/.433 with 10 home runs in 218 plate appearances. With a career .869 OPS vs. right-handed pitchers, the 33-year-old hits hurlers who throw from that side very well, and should put up numbers that will make fantasy managers very happy.

Andres Gimenez hit an RBI triple in Sunday's 5-1 victory in the Cactus League opener against the Reds.

Gimenez went 2-for-2 in the contest, with an RBI triple off of Triston McKenzie in the third inning. The 22-year-old was the centerpiece of the return Cleveland got from the New York Mets in the Francisco Lindor trade. Gimenez hit the ground running in his MLB debut last season, slashing .263/.333/.398 with three home runs and eight steals. He's a valuable mid-round speedster in roto leagues with eligibility at 2B, 3B, and SS. The drawback here is that Gimenez could possibly start the season in the minors, though he may force his way onto the Opening Day roster if he continues to hit.

Zac Gallen threw two scoreless innings for the Diamondbacks on Sunday, giving up two hits and two walks against the Rockies in the Cactus League opener.

Though Gallen struggled with his control in the first inning and then contact in the second, he was able to hold baserunners and work his way out of consecutive jams in both innings. Gallen, 25, finished the shortened 2020 season with a 2.75 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 72 innings, even receiving some Cy Young award votes. With his strong numbers, the righty pitcher will be a viable fantasy option in 2021.

Triston McKenzie allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings on Sunday in his Cactus League debut against the Reds.

McKenzie came in to the game in the third inning, following starter Jose De Leon. The run he allowed came off a Joey Votto single that drove Kyle Farmer in from second. McKenzie had an impressive MLB debut for Cleveland in 2020, starting six games and posting a 3.24 ERA in 33.1 innings. He possesses plenty of strikeout ability, but whether he can hold up over a full season remains to be seen as he's struggled with injuries throughout his minor league career and saw his velocity dip late last year. The upside is high for the 23-year-old starter going in the middle rounds of fantasy baseball drafts.

Jose De Leon pitched two innings and allowed one run on Sunday in his Cactus League debut against Cleveland.

De Leon struggled with control his first time out this spring as he walked two batters, gave up a hit, and allowed the one run against Cleveland. After walking Billy Hamilton in the second inning, he gave up a run-scoring triple to Andres Gimenez. A once highly-regarded prospect, De Leon comes into the season with a chance to carve out a role in the Reds' bullpen. He struggled last season, giving up 12 runs in six innings for a 18.00 ERA. De Leon has some strikeout ability, so limiting walks would go a long way to making him a solid middle reliever for the team in 2021.

Austin Gomber went two scoreless innings in Sunday’s Cactus League start vs. the Diamondbacks while giving up one hit and striking out one.

The 27-year-old lefty is one of a handful of players acquired from St. Louis this past offseason in exchange for Nolan Arenado. In 2020 for the Cardinals, Gomber pitched 29 innings in four starts and 10 relief appearances, marking an impressive 1.86 ERA and 27 strikeouts. His 3.54 FIP and 1.172 WHIP should raise concern for fantasy managers, especially considering he will be pitching at Coors Field.
