Hyde, who out-snapped Chris Carson in Week 12, could miss this week with a toe injury that kept him out of late-week practices. Carson could resume his workhorse role in the Seattle backfield against New York. He'd be a locked-in RB1 if Hyde is inactive.

Buccaneers designated DT Vita Vea (broken leg) to return from injured reserve.

Vea, Pro Football Focus' No. 3-graded interior defensive lineman prior to injury, fractured his ankle in October but will (somehow) be available for practice Wednesday in an attempt to be activated in time for Sunday's Conference Championship matchup against the Packers. It's potentially a massive boost for Tampa Bay's interior line even if Vea is limited upon returning.

Patrick Mahomes is in the NFL's concussion protocol.

Mahomes left Sunday's Divisional Round victory in the second half and did not return after suffering the brain injury. "We'll follow that and see how he does the next couple of days," Andy Reid said Monday, a day after he said Mahomes was "doing great" in a generally optimistic statement on his star QB. If Mahomes can't clear the league's protocol this week, Chad Henne would start for KC in the AFC title game against Buffalo. Mahomes' practice participation will be worth watching throughout the week.

Antonio Brown is undergoing an MRI on his injured knee.

Brown, who had one catch for 10 yards Sunday, was seen on the sideline in the second half of Tampa's Divisional Round win over the Saints after suffering the injury. His absence opened up playing time for Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller alongside Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Brown's practice participation will be key in knowing whether the veteran will be available this week against the Packers.

Aaron Jones had 43 percent of the Packers' rushing attempts in the team's Divisional Round win over the Rams.

The theory that Green Bay was saving Jones for massive postseason workloads didn't pan out, as Jones played 47 of 75 offensive snaps for the Packers on Saturday. He salvaged his fantasy day with a 60-yard run at the beginning of the second half. Meanwhile, Jamaal Williams played 28 snaps and AJ Dillon logged nine snaps before exiting with a quad injury. DFS players shouldn't assume Jones' role will change this week against Tampa's stellar rush defense.

Darrel Williams has out-snapped Le'Veon Bell 101-31 in two games with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip) sidelined.

That accounts for the running backs' usage in meaningless contests, not the team's meaningless Week 17 game against the Chargers. Williams out-touched Bell 17-2 in Sunday's win over the Browns, running 30 routes to Bell's seven routes. Williams is clearly the preferred option over Bell and Week 17 standout Darwin Thompson as long as CEH is out. Expect Williams to be a popular DFS option this week against Buffalo is Edwards-Helaire remains out.

Michael Thomas had an 11.4 percent target share in four games with Drew Brees this season.

Thomas caught none of the four targets he saw in the Saints' Divisional Round loss to the Bucs, smothered by Tampa CB Carlton Davis, who later flamed Thomas on Twitter. Interpersonal conflict might explain why Brees stopped looking Thomas' way this season after Thomas enjoyed a target share of around 30 percent from 2017 to 2019. Whatever the reason, Thomas went from the most reliable receiver in fantasy football to little more than a WR4 with Brees under center. Thomas will be better off with Taysom Hill, who targeted Thomas at a far higher rate this season. That assumes the Saints go with Hill as their 2021 starter.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards, LB Chris Board, CB Davontae Harris, and P Johnny Townsend are restricted free agents this offseason.

Baltimore's restricted free agents can negotiate and sign with any team, but the Ravens can offer them qualifying offers that come with the right of first refusal and/or compensation in the form of a draft pick. Edwards, who averaged five yards on his 144 carries in 2020, could draw interest from running back-needy teams impressed by the big back's agility and tough running. In Baltimore, he will surely remain the No. 2 back behind J.K. Dobbins in 2021.

Emmanuel Sanders caught 6-of-9 targets for 48 yards in the Saints' Divisional Round loss to the Bucs.

Sanders led the Saints in targets and catches. Signed to a two-year deal in the offseason, Sanders' first season in New Orleans produced a 61-726-5 line on 82 targets across 14 games. He was signed to be the No. 2 wideout, but Michael Thomas missed nine games during the year, leaving Sanders to pick up the slack. Turning 34 this offseason, Sanders doesn't have a whole lot left in the tank. He carries a $10 million cap hit in 2021, and the Saints will take on a $6 million dead money hit if he's not designated a post-June 1 cut. Obviously, Sanders could be brought back for the second year of his deal, too, but the Saints need to upgrade their wideout group behind Thomas.

Brown wasn't targeted in the second half as he stood on the sideline with what appeared to be an injury. It was Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson soaking up snaps behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Brown will have the week to get ready for next Sunday's NFC title game against the Packers.

Tre'Quan Smith caught all three of his targets for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints' Divisional Round loss to the Bucs.

He caught a 56-yard score on a flea-flicker trick play from Jameis Winston before then making an incredible adjustment for a second score at the front right pylon on Drew Brees' lone touchdown pass of the game. Smith led the Saints in receiving. During the regular season, Smith posted a 34-448-4 line on 50 targets, setting new highs in targets, catches, and yards as the Saints' third wideout. A big-play receiver, maybe Smith will get more of a chance in 2021 if Emmanuel Sanders leaves town and the Saints also become more aggressive down the field. Smith will be entering the final year of his rookie deal.

Rob Gronkowski caught 1-of-5 targets for 14 yards in the Bucs' Divisional Round win over the Saints.

His missed connections were tough throws and would have required diving, sprawling grabs. Gronkowski is a favorite of Tom Brady in the red zone alongside Mike Evans, but his counting stats haven't been there much this season in a loaded offense. Gronkowski will be a TD-dependent proposition next weekend at Green Bay in the NFC title game.

Chris Godwin caught 4-of-7 targets for 34 yards in the Bucs' Divisional Round win over the Saints.

Godwin's biggest play was a third-down catch on a slant on the final drive that produced a first down and helped salt away the clock. He very nearly made an incredible touchdown catch in the back of the end zone earlier in the evening but was unable to control the ball as he went to the ground despite beating the safety on the deep shot and getting two feet in bounds on the play. Godwin has been up-and-down this season in a loaded offense. He gets the Packers next week in the NFC title bout.
