C. Hagelin - F
Hagelin scored a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Lightning.
The Caps' third-line duo of Hagelin and Lars Eller have been stepping it up with the playoffs looming, and the former now has three goals and eight points in the last nine games -- half his scoring total on the season.

L. Eller - F
Eller scored a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Lightning.
While the Bolts got big nights from their superstars, the Caps' offense was carried by secondary players like Eller, which may well have been the difference. The veteran center is having a strong run to closer out the season, however, scoring five goals and 11 points over the last 14 games.

B. Holtby - G
Holtby stopped 23 of 28 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Lightning.
Since shutting out the Devils on March 8, Holtby has stumbled, going 1-2-1 with a 3.78 GAA and .868 save percentage over his last four starts. His overall numbers are right in line with last year's fairly lackluster regular-season performance, but that hasn't stopped the Caps from sitting atop the Metropolitan Division standings.

V. Hedman - D
Hedman scored the overtime winner and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-4 victory over the Capitals.
The star blueliner has found the scoresheet in six straight games and nine of the last 11, piling up four goals and 12 points over that stretch. Hedman is now just one point short of his third straight 50-point campaign, and the fourth of his career.

N. Kucherov - F
Kucherov scored two power-play goals in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Capitals.
His dazzling late-season scoring binge continues. Kucherov has posted multi-point efforts in seven of the last 11 games, piling up seven goals and 18 points over that stretch to extend his NHL scoring lead.

A. Vasilevskiy - G
Vasilevskiy stopped 54 of 58 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Capitals.
The 54 saves set a new Lightning franchise single-game record. Vasilevskiy has simply been brilliant over the last six weeks, winning five straight starts and going an incredible 15-1-0 since Feb. 9 with a 2.10 GAA and .934 save percentage -- a run that puts him firmly in the conversation for the Vezina Trophy.

C. Hutton - G
Hutton stopped 42 of 45 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Toronto's final goal came into an empty net. Hutton has started five of the last seven games for the Sabres, but his 1-3-1 record, 3.32 GAA and .912 save percentage leaves the door open for Linus Ullmark to work his way back into a timeshare to close out the season.

A. Matthews - F
Matthews scored a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
The 21-year-old has been on a tear lately, and Matthews now has six goals and 10 points in the last seven games. He's now two points shy of setting a new career high, a milestone he should easily reach with the Leafs having eight games left in the regular season.
