This WNBA season has been interesting for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that with no games on Mondays and no back-to-backs, the same six teams that played Tuesday and Thursday are playing again Saturday. Through a quirk of the schedule, nearly all the poor defensive teams have the day off. That should keep fantasy points down on the whole, and I think it makes the injuries in Saturday’s slate even more important.

Stefanie Dolson is out again, so Azura Stevens and Cheyenne Parker should continue to play heavy minutes. Sue Bird is out, and that should have a big impact considering she has the second-highest usage on Seattle. I just think Jordin Canada and Jewell Loyd are overpriced, even with Bird out. They would need to exceed their 2019 production to provide value, and that will be hard to do with Breanna Stewart back in the mix.

Theresa Plaisance is probable after missing the first three games, and Connecticut could use her shooting in the frontcourt. How many minutes she will play remains a mystery, and it is also unclear who she will take those minutes from. DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas are each averaging 36 mpg so far, so my guess is they get closer to 30 minutes, at least once Plaisance is up to full strength.

Finally, I will have to edit my example lineups quite a bit if Lexie Brown is active. Rachel Banham had her best game of the season Thursday with Brown out, but it was Shenise Johnson who had 15 field goal attempts and Crystal Dangerfield who played 34 minutes. If Brown sits, I’m playing whoever starts at the two guard spots for Minnesota.

As always, the lineups below are examples of lineups you can make using the players in the Playbook, and are not for plug and play.

She played 34 minutes against Chicago in her first career start, and I thought she looked good on both ends of the floor. She only shot 2-9 from the field and 0-4 on threes, but I believe in her shooting. I'm playing her on both sites if she starts, though I wouldn't blame you for playing the Rachel Banham revenge game instead.

Gray is averaging a fantasy point per minute this season, and she has played at least 30 minutes in each of her last two games. She still hasn't shot the ball particularly well, but her assist rate is up significantly from last season.

After watching Napheesa Collier destroy the Sky on the offensive glass, I can only imagine what Hines-Allen will do in this matchup.

Stevens is averaging 41.38 fantasy points in two games with Stefanie Dolson out. She is probably worth paying for on DK, which makes her way too cheap on FD.

Plaisance is probable for this game, and since she was dealing with a back injury and not COVID, I feel better taking a shot on her. That being said, we don't really know how many minutes she'll play or how effective she will be. On the other hand, I don't think Connecticut can continue to play DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas 36 minutes per game, so Plaisance could play a good amount right away. If Plaisance enterest the starting lineup, she becomes a must-play.

Kudos to Derek Fisher for only taking one game to realize he should play his best players more than 20 minutes per game. It's quite impressive considering he never learned that lesson last season. Parker has played 31 minutes and scored at least 32.75 fantasy points in each of her last two games. Seattle has a lot of bodies to throw at her, but I think she'll be good so long as Derek Fisher keeps her in the game.
