Sometimes, as I am putting together my WNBA DFS lineups, I worry that my FanDuel and DraftKings lineups are too similar. That should be less of a concern Tuesday. We have three WNBA games on the schedule, with the Seattle Storm hosting the Los Angeles Sparks at 3:00 PM ET, followed by two games in the evening. While DraftKings is offering a three-game slate, FanDuel is only offering a slate with the two night games. If you want to play anyone from LA or Seattle you have to play a single-game contest. We will proceed with our playbook and optimal lineups as usual, just keep in mind that if you want to play Jewell Loyd in a classic lineup, it has to be on DraftKings.
One thing I did not anticipate was how difficult it would be to find forwards I like for cash games. There are a lot of safe, mid-priced guards who didn’t make my playbook or my lineups because playing them would have meant leaving a lot of money on the table or playing expensive forwards in difficult matchups. That being said, if you like Liz Cambage or Nneka Ogwumike more than I do, go ahead and play them, since I think you can get by with just about all of the cheaper guards for cash games.
