We are usually in a situation on Saturdays where there are two NHL slates, with one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. Today, we have a bit of a change where there are no afternoon games, and just one big 10 game slate.

Tonight, we will have four teams playing their second game in as many nights. This includes the Tampa Bay Lightning (3-4-4), Winnipeg Jets (5-4-2), Chicago Blackhawks (8-2-1), and Detroit Red Wings (5-3-1). Once again, each team’s record when playing without rest is in parentheses.

Additionally, we have three very big favorites scheduled for action tonight. As of right now, the Bruins are -270 favorites over the Devils the Capitals are -260 favorites over the Flyers, and Kings are -260 favorites over the Canucks. This doesn’t even include other -200 favorites like the Jets over the Avalanche and the Oilers over the Red Wings.
