Tuesday brings us another ginormous 15-game DFS MLB slate. As we get closer and closer to the end of the season, it’ll be important to keep an eye on teams that have something to play for. For instance, the Cubs, who have already clinched the NL Central, rested Anthony Rizzo multiple games this past weekend.
Outside of a late inning delay in Arlington, the weather cooperated with us last night. From the looks of it, the weather should be able to cooperate tonight as well.

Gary Sanchez seems to be rolling again. In the previous series against the Red Sox, Sanchez went 7-for-19 (.368 AVG) with two homers, two doubles, and five RBIs.
Tom Murphy got overlooked again last night in favor of Nick Hundley. I think the odds are pretty good that he gets another start, considering he has gotten the last two nights off. As I mentioned yesterday, Murphy is 8-for-16 (.500 AVG) with four homers at Coors this season.
Salvador Perez has torn apart Josh Tomlin this season, going 5-for-9 (.556 AVG) with four of those hits going for doubles.
Evan Gattis crushed his 28th home run of the season last night against the A’s, which was a huge reason for Houston’s come from behind victory at the Coliseum. I like his matchup slightly more tonight against Sean Manaea, who Gattis actually homered off of earlier this season.

Edwin Encarnacion just continues to roll, homering last night, bringing him to a total of 41 this season. He faces Hisashi Iwakuma, who he has gone 4-for-12 (.333 AVG) against with a home run.
Miguel Cabrera has batted .309/.418/.532 with nine homers against left-handed pitching this season. The .418 OBP is nearly 40 points higher than his OBP against righties.
Jose Abreu went 2-for-2 with a homer earlier this season against Jake Thompson of the Phillies. He has also rocked a .443 wOBA in August with a .425 wOBA in September, so he is has hot as he has been all season.
Tommy Joseph is so cheap on FanDuel that rostering him and open up a multitude of possibilities elsewhere in your lineup. He went 2-for-3 with a homer and double earlier this season against James Shields, and is a sensational value for someone who has gone 8-for-17 (.471 AVG) with two homers in his last five games.

Brian Dozier’s price tag is no longer a joke throughout the industry, and rightfully so. He may be worth paying up for tonight considering it’s a lefty, and it’s a lefty he’s done damage against this season, going 4-for-9 (.444 AVG) with a homer against Matt Boyd of the Tigers.
Jean Segura got another hit last night, making it 16 hits in his last seven games, making him 16-for-33 (.485 AVG) with five homers over the last week of action.
Devon Travis has shown virtually no power, this month, but that doesn’t matter considering he is in the middle of a 16-game hitting streak. He also happens to have a .500 OBP over the first five games of the Jays’ current road trip.
Dee Gordon didn’t pan out last night, but at $2800 on FanDuel, I’m willing to give him another crack against Tanner Roark, who he has a .462 OBP against over 13 plate appearances.

Justin Turner continues to crush right-handed pitching. He has a .296 AVG against righties compared to an abysmal .197 AVG against lefties. He has also gone 6-for-18 (.333 AVG) with a homer, lifetime, against Johnny Cueto of the Giants.
Jedd Gyorko is my #1 play of the day. I mentioned on the Playbook that Gyorko has had a ridiculously productive career at Coors Field, and that obviously played a big part last night. I’m crossing my fingers that people will continue to ignore him. He is 14-for-22 (.636 AVG) with a homer, five doubles, six walks (.714 OBP), and five RBIs, lifetime, against Jorge De La Rosa.
Yulieski Gurriel remains a bargain on DraftKings, yet he has gone 18-for-60 (.300 AVG) with three homers and 11 RBIs over his last 15 games.
Jorge Polanco has been outstanding against left-handed pitching this season, batting .375/.407/.604 with seven extra-base hits in just 48 at-bats.

Jhonny Peralta has homered three times against Jorge De La Rosa of the Rockies. I think Aledmys Diaz is going to be the more popular play, but if both of them start, I prefer Peralta because of matchups. Also, Diaz isn’t a good hitter against lefties.
Dansby Swanson was the #1 overall pick in the 2015 Draft for a reason. He has been batting a rock solid .327/.390/.500 with a couple homers over his last 15 games.
Jose Peraza is a name that I have stayed away from recently, but I don’t mind him tonight against the lefty, Jon Lester, who he reached base safely against three out of four times in their last meeting. Obviously when you think Lester, you think stolen bases, and I’d be shocked if he doesn’t swipe a bag if he gets on base.
Andrelton Simmons disappointed last night but he was still able to get on base safely. He is still cheap as heck and sports a line of .348/.444/.739 with three homers over the last week.

Charlie Blackmon disappointed last night, but it doesn’t change the fact that he has been super hot at the plate. He faces Adam Wainwright, who he has gone 6-for-10 (.600 AVG), lifetime, with three extra base hits.
Mookie Betts continued his crazy Camden Yards tear last night, hitting his EIGHT home run this season alone in Baltimore. He gets a matchup against Kevin Gausman, who he has homered off of twice this season.
David Dahl has unsurprisingly been a much better hitter at home at Coors Field. He’s batting .341/.394/.538 this season at Coors and matches up well against Adam Wainwright.
Ryan Braun, unfortunately, didn’t face Steven Brault the last time the Brewers and Pirates met. It’s a shame, because he matches up extremely well against the lefty from a PITCHf/x perspective. He also has three homers over his last two games.
Brandon Drury is batting .436/.516/.782 with five homers and 14 RBIs over his last 15 games. Best value is on FantasyAces.
Stephen Piscotty has been hit or miss lately, but the odds that you get a good game from Piscotty increase against lefties, who he has batted .307/.406/.577 against this season.
Matt Kemp has an 11-game hitting streak where he has also crushed three homers and scored 11 runs. One of those homers was against Robert Gsellman a few weeks back at Citi Field.
Adam Jones has gone 4-for-8 (.500 AVG) with a homer, double, and four RBIs against Eduardo Rodriguez of the Red Sox this season.
Steven Souza Jr. is someone I am always targeting when he faces Michael Pineda. He is 9-for-19 (.474 AVG) with four homers and three RBIs throughout his career against Pineda, with three of those homers coming in 2016 alone.
Carlos Gomez looks like the Carlos Gomez we remember when he was leadoff on a regular basis for the Brewers. Showing off power, speed, and producing runs on a consistent basis, it’s a version of Gomez that we want to see for DFS purposes. Now that his price point is rising, his ownership is going to be low. He faces Daniel Wright, who he went 2-for-3 (.667 AVG) against with a couple home runs from their days in the NL Central.
Sean Rodriguez has gotten some extra playing time thanks to an injury to Josh Harrison and Starling Marte. He’s finally getting the playing time he deserves, and he has rewarded Clint Hurdle with homers in three consecutive games and five homers over his last seven.
Domingo Santana hasn’t been getting much love from Craig Counsell, but his bat has basically played him into the lineup. He is batting .314/.364/.667 with five homers over his last 15 games.
Marcell Ozuna is 5-for-12 (.417 AVG) with a homer, triple, and five RBIs this season against Tanner Roark of the Nationals.
Corey Dickerson has enjoyed his time in the AL East, and especially so against Michael Pineda, who he has gone 6-for-10 (.600 AVG) with a homer, two doubles, and three RBIs against this season.
Hunter Pence gets a tough matchup against Rich Hill, but for $2600 on FanDuel, I can live with it, especially considering he has always been one of baseball’s best hitters against the curveball.
