If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.

We take this adage to heart when it comes to playing NFL DFS. The Fantasy Alarm Playbook isn’t just about handing you a list of players and a lineup to use each week. It is designed to help you learn to be a better DFS player. It’s about teaching you the process used in selecting which players to scout and, eventually, which ones to use.

Therefore, we will begin each week with the Weekly NFL DFS Watch List. We’ll still have our Weekly DFS Rankings, but the Watch List is designed to keep tabs on marquee names, chalk plays and, of course, the weekly bargains who may not see the same coverage and exposure. This piece will be continuously updated based on the most recent news and injuries which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this watch list will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.

With Week 10 data in the books, it's time to start looking ahead to Week 11 and see who looks good.

PLAYERS ADDED -- 11/15 (see below for breakdown)

THURSDAY NIGHT GAME BREAKDOWN:

Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks (SEA -3; O/U 49)

Packers: Run D – 26th Pass D – 9th

Seahawks: Run D – 20th Pass D – 6th

according to current DVOA numbers

Passing:

If Mike McCarthy is smart and utilizes the ground game early, things will open up for Aaron Rodgers  on Thursday. Seattle doesn’t give up a ton of yardage and they’ve given up just 14 passing touchdowns on the year, but they specifically rank 14th against opposing WR1s and are allowing 67.0 yards per game to them. Rodgers won’t have issues threading the needle to his other targets, but he and Davante Adams  could light things up here.

The Packers aren’t giving up a world of yardage, but opposing QB efficiency is what it’s all about for Russell Wilson  . And the fact that opposing quarterbacks are posting a 92.9 passer rating against the Packers makes Wilson a very interesting play here, especially if you think he’ll be throwing a bunch in the second half of the game.

Rushing:

If Mike McCarthy continues to utilize Aaron Jones  , this should be a solid effort for the Packers lead running back. The Seahawks are giving up 118.6 rushing yards per game, seven rushing touchdowns and 5.0 yards per carry. You have to think, McCarthy just might employ the same strategy that had them manhandling the Dolphins on Sunday.

Chris Carson is expected back and he will step back into a lead role. That sounds great against a Packers team that 120.9 yards per game on the ground and ranks 21st against running back pass plays, especially when head coach Pete Carroll and OC Brian Schottenheimer are on the same page with pulling back Rashaad Penny . , however, Mike Davis should still see some touches, so look for him to poach some work from Carson.
