QUARTERBACKS

Quarterbacks
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Bryce YoungBAMAARK980028.151020026.59
The current Heisman favorite is always in play for DFS if Alabama is on the slate and it’s no different this week. With the Tide usually scoring 40-50 points, Young is regularly tossing multiple TDs and 300+ yards on a regular basis. Even against a slightly tougher defense like Arkansas, we can bank on Young and the ‘Bama offense to anchor our lineups in all formats.
C.J. StroudOSUMSU950028.21120026.09
While Young might be better suited for GPP’s on this slate, Stroud should be popular in cash as the popular pay-up QB option. The Heisman contender and this Ohio State passing attack have one of the best matchups in the whole country against a terrible Michigan State pass defense that’s allowing 325 passing yards per game during conference play (125th in FBS). You can easily pair Stroud with either Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave and feel safe in cash.
Kenny PickettPITTUV910032.81080028.92
In case you forgot, Virginia’s defense is terrible and the Pitt attack will be the latest to light them up. It begins and ends with Pickett in a pass-centric offense that regularly results in 300+ yards and multiple TDs from the QB. He now boasts an impressive 32:4 TD:INT ratio on the year and has one of the safest DFS floors at the QB position with a high volume of attempts and yardage. Maybe he goes overlooked compared to Young, Stroud and others in the player pool, but Pickett is as good as it gets for cash this week.
Brock PurdyISUOU690018.99840018.80
If you want to differentiate yourself from the field, Purdy has a ton of upside against Oklahoma this week in a likely high-scoring game. He’s cheap enough to roster as a Super-Flex paired with one of the studs - especially if you game stack with Caleb Williams on the other side. Purdy will be facing a shaky OU defense that’s giving up 266 pass yards per game in conference play (98th in FBS) and could be in for a long day having to face Breece Hall and the ISU run game - opening up room for Purdy to make plays.
D.J. UiagaleleiCLEMWAKE590014.12670013.92
I know what you’re thinking. Uiagalelei and the Clemson offense has been horrific at times this season and there’s no way you’d touch it in DFS. Can’t blame you for the past, but this week presents a tasty matchup. The Wake Forest defense isn’t stopping anyone right now and rank 104th in the country in pass yards allowed per game vs. conference opponents. He’s no Trevor Lawrence, but Uiagalelei can easily take advantage of this matchup like most opposing QBs have done against Wake - and he’s very affordable for cash or GPP.
Phil JurkovecBCFSU450024.64870020.79
There’s no other way around it: Jurkovec is an extreme pricing mistake on the DK slate and he’s basically a free square at only $4500. The only way you aren’t playing the Boston College QB in cash is to be different from the masses. Even still, this type of value doesn’t come around too often - especially at the QB position. Jurkovec just put up 48 DK points last week and now gets to face a soft FSU defense? Even on FD he’s a solid play at an appropriate price tag.

Also Consider:

  • Caleb Williams -- Oklahoma ($9,900 DK / $11,000 FD)
  • Desmond Ridder -- Cincinnati ($8,900 DK / $10,500 FD)
  • Payton Thorne -- Michigan State ($7,000 DK / $8,200 FD)
  • Jack Coan -- Notre Dame ($6,400 DK / $7,000 FD)
  • Sean Clifford -- Penn State ($6,000 DK Only)

RUNNING BACKS

Running Backs
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Breece HallISUOU940029.681100027.03
Hall continues to be one of the surest things going in CFB DFS and it’ll likely continue this week vs. Oklahoma’s inconsistent defense in a high-total contest. Despite only having 76 total yards last week, Hall still put up 28 DK points thanks to his three TDs. He now has 26+ DK points in three straight and seven of the last eight games. The price tags are expensive at first, but there’s enough value on this slate to get him in and even roster a couple other studs.
Kenneth Walker IIIMSUOSU920029.68920026.78
If you want to be different from everyone who plays Breece Hall, then pivot to Walker at likely lower rostership. People will probably stay away from Walker in cash because MSU is a sizable underdog to Ohio State on the road here, but it’s still conceivable for the Heisman contender to put up 100+ yards and multiple TDs. He’s been basically matchup-proof this season with big games against other solid defenses (Michigan, Purdue).
Brian Robinson Jr.BAMAARK900025.531050024.23
Considering the presence of Hall and Walker on this slate, it’ll be interesting to see how popular Robinson Jr. is in cash - especially if people are playing Bryce Young and one of the Tide receivers too. Nevertheless, Bama’s lead back continues to be a strong DFS play in this high-scoring offense that usually results in 100+ total yards and multiple TDs for him weekly. Robinson will face a below-average Arkansas rush defense that’s allowing 171 yards per game (80th in FBS) and 4.46 ypc to SEC opponents. The only worry is if Bama gets up big and rests him - but hopefully Arkansas keeps it close enough to get a full workload.
Hassan HaskinsMICHUMD760019.94
Unfortunately this is a late game, so we may not know if Blake Corum is playing or not until all the early games kickoff. If Corum is out, though, then Haskins would be in line for a much larger workload than usual against a bad Maryland rush defense. Last week with Corum out, Haskins saw 31 carries for 156 yards and added five receptions for 45 yards against Penn State. Now he sees a softer matchup with Michigan likely playing with a lead? The guy usually sees plenty of volume and red zone touches even when his backfield mate is playing - but Corum’s absence would lock Haskins in for basically all the rushing work in Michigan’s offense.
Leddie BrownWVUUT620020.39
It’s been a few weeks since Brown was a top DFS RB, but this is a nice bounce-back spot for the West Virginia bell cow. The Texas rush defense is terrible, allowing 5.21 YPC and 211 rushing yards per game (111th in FBS) during conference play. This matchup has provided some big performances from opposing RBs all year and Brown will be the latest to benefit. Even though his rushing game logs are inconsistent this year, he’s still seeing a healthy amount of touches as the team’s bell cow - and he’s not far removed from dropping 33 DK in back-to-back games! He could end up being popular in cash considering the price.
Israel AbanikandaPITTUV530013.56620011.18
We mentioned targeting the UVA defense with Kenny Pickett and the Pitt passing game, but don’t overlook the rushers having tons of success too. It’s been a guessing game with this backfield all year, but Abanikanda seems to have taken over lead back duties recently. He’s seen 14 and 15 touches in the past two games with 90+ total yards in both - compared to Vincent Davis and Rodney Hammond Jr. mostly taking a backseat. This matchup is one of the most favorable in the whole country with the UVA defense giving up 5.86 YPC and 229 rushing yards per game (116th in FBS) during conference play. Though he’s not the clear-cut lead guy for Pitt, Abanikanda could smash value in this matchup.
Roschon JohnsonUTWVU38006.82
With Bijan Robinson now unfortunately out for the season, Johnson is the presumed next man up as Texas’ lead back this week. Keilan Robinson could also see touches, but Johnson should see the majority of carries as he’s been the main backup to Bijan all season. The cheap price tag is what makes Johnson an interesting play, but the upside is capped a bit against this solid West Virginia rush defense. Plus, the Longhorns offense could end up being more pass-happy now with Bijan out. It’s definitely worth a shot in GPP’s at sub 4k though.
Zander HorvathPURNW34008.78
You know the drill. If Northwestern is on the slate, then we need to instantly look at the opposing RBs. This defense is now giving up 267 rushing yards per game (125th out of 127 FBS schools) and a whopping 5.98 YPC to opposing RBs during conference play. Wisconsin’s Braelon Allen didn’t disappoint in this matchup last week and now it’s Purdue’s turn. The only issue is we have a split backfield between King Doerue and Zander Horvath. Both are good values but we just don’t know how this workload will shake out. If anything, I’d go with Horvath for the savings and better chance he regains the lead back role moving forward now that he’s healthy.

Also Consider:

  • Braelon Allen -- Wisconsin ($8,600 DK / $8,900 FD)
  • TreVeyon Henderson -- Ohio State ($8,500 DK / $10,000 FD)
  • Kyren Williams -- Notre Dame ($8,000 DK / $9,400 FD)
  • Jashaun Corbin -- Florida State ($6,800 DK / $7,500 FD)
  • Pat Garwo III -- Boston College ($5,800 DK / $7,400 FD)
  • Keyvone Lee -- Penn State ($3,600 DK Only)
  • Dominique Johnson -- Arkansas ($3,000 DK / $5,900 FD)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Wide Receivers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Jameson WilliamsBAMAARK770024.23950021.13
Alabama’s receiving production continues to be very top heavy with Williams and Metchie gobbling up the majority of yardage, receptions and TDs from this pass-catching corps. Both are always in play - especially in a pairing with Bryce Young - but Williams gets the slight edge. He’s a long TD waiting to happen any time he touches the ball and has four 100-yard games over the past five compared to only two for Metchie in the same span. Can’t go wrong with either one at similar price points though.
Jordan AddisonPITTUV710025.63930019.16
Pitt’s offense should have no issues moving the ball and scoring multiple times against Virginia this week and Addison will be a big part of that as the clear-cut top receiver. His target share and reception volume is consistently safe and he’s likely going for 100+ yards and a TD or two in this favorable matchup. If you’re playing Pickett, then pairing Addison in the same lineup is a good strategy.
Garrett WilsonOSUMSU680023.38940019.43
First off, there’s absolutely no reason for both Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave to be priced below Smith-Njigba on the DK slate - despite the latter’s good games lately. With that being said, both Wilson and Olave are strong plays on this slate against Michigan State’s terrible pass defense. We could easily see one or both of them going for 100-200 yards and multiple scores as C.J. Stroud tears up this matchup. Wilson returned from a one-game absence with a massive effort last week and he could be popular with people chasing those points.
Reggie Roberson Jr.SMUCINCY490014.07680011.98
An injury situation to monitor is the status of Danny Gray. The SMU receiver was sidelined in practice earlier this week with a leg injury and it seems he’s doubtful after being in a boot and on crutches on the sideline last week. If Gray is out, it bumps up Rashee Rice, Reggie Roberson Jr. and even Grant Calcaterra as SMU’s top pass-catchers in a game where they’ll have to throw more to keep pace with Cincy. Roberson is a bit cheaper than Rice and makes for a better per-dollar play.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Bryce Ford-WheatonWVUUT480012.02
Both Ford-Wheaton and Winston Wright Jr. are still too cheap on the DK slate and make for nice values against a shaky Texas defense this week. Ford-Wheaton gets the slight bump for being the cheaper of the two and offering a better floor of receptions week-to-week. Both, though, are solid bets to return value at the 5k range for cash.
Charlie KolarISUOU450012.84690010.57
Can anyone explain to me why Kolar is still sub-5k on DK? He’s appropriately priced on FD, but the guy just caught two TDs and put up 27 DK points last week yet still remains the same exact price on DK. You can fire up the Iowa State tight end in cash or GPP yet again - especially in a higher-scoring matchup vs. Oklahoma where the ISU offense could be throwing more than usual.
Beaux CollinsCLEMWAKE450010.1859007.85
In an interesting turn of events, Collins is now a top receiving target for Clemson with both Justyn Ross and Joseph Ngata out. After being quiet for most of the season, he’s been heavily involved the last two games with his teammates sidelined. Collins has at least five catches and a TD in back-to-back games with a combined stat line of 11 grabs for 144 yards. He may end up being popular in cash considering the cheap price tags and clear path for production.
Jared WaynePITTUV430013.92740011.53
While Addison is the headliner in Pitt’s offense, Wayne offers a cheap avenue to this passing attack against the terrible UVA defense. He’s been the team’s second-best receiver lately with Taysir Mack out and it likely continues this week. Wayne has 70+ yards, a TD and 16+ DK points in three straight games and four of the last five. He’s a really good value on DK with significantly cheaper tags than FD.
Chigoziem OkonkwoUMDMICH430012.49
Maryland’s tight end has quickly become not only a top target for Taulia Tagovailoa, but also a personal favorite of mine for DFS after we’ve hyped him up multiple times in the playbook and livestreams. Okonkwo is now seeing a much larger target share with all the injuries in the Terps’ receiving corps - and it’ll increase even more this week with Marcus Fleming now out for the season. He’s much too cheap for how good he’s been lately - which has been 22 and 34 DK points over the last two games.
Michael Woods IIOUISU38009.4662007.63
Woods returned to the OU offense last week and was immediately one of Caleb Williams’ top targets. He had four receptions for 53 yards to lead the team in both categories. Though the Sooners’ receiving production is pretty spread out among Woods, Mims, Haselwood and Williams - it’s Woods who’s the best play on DK as the cheapest.

Also Consider:

  • Jahan Dotson -- Penn State ($8,400 DK Only)
  • Xavier Hutchinson -- Iowa State ($7,500 DK / $8,400 FD)
  • John Metchie III -- Alabama ($7,400 DK / $8,700 FD)
  • Chris Olave -- Ohio State ($6,400 DK / $9,200 FD)
  • Michael Mayer -- Notre Dame ($5,600 DK / $6,800 FD)
  • Winston Wright Jr. -- West Virginia ($5,000 DK Only)
  • Jackson Anthrop -- Purdue ($4,600 DK Only)
  • Erick All -- Michigan ($4,100 DK Only)
  • Lucas Krull -- Pittsburgh ($3,600 DK / $6,500 FD)
