Brett GabbertMIAOHBGSU900022.821150022.39
Since returning from injury a month ago, Gabbert has been playing at a high level with nine total TDs over the past two games and an 11:1 TD:INT ratio over the last three. The high DFS upside is already proven with at least four TDs in back-to-back games coming into this one. The only issue is the blowout risk of tonight’s matchup vs. a poor Bowling Green side. Though Gabbert could toss a few TDs before the offense takes its foot off the gas, don’t be surprised if he fails to eclipse 200 passing yards and gets outscored by other QBs on the slate.
Dequan FinnTOLOHIO820019.4970019.03
In terms of statistical passing matchups tonight, Finn has it the easiest against an Ohio defense that’s allowing 305 pass yards per game during conference play (122nd in FBS). Though the Toledo attack isn’t as pass-happy as others in the MAC, this matchup could easily allow for Finn to put up 30+ DFS points - just like he’s done in back-to-back games coming in. There’s also some dual-threat ability to Finn that gives him a higher floor than most QBs tonight - which will make him popular in cash.
Ben BryantEMUWMU680017.55950017.29
In the highest total of the slate, most people will want to roster one or both of Bryant and Kaleb Eleby. For the slight savings, Byrant gets the slight edge for me for likely similar DFS production. In a pass-heavy offense, the EMU QB has thrown for 330+ yards in three of the last four games and has 20+ DK points in three straight coming into tonight. He’ll face a Western Mich defense that’s better than most yardage-wise in the conference but have allowed a cumulative 12:0 TD:INT ratio to opposing MAC QBs. There’s a clear path for Bryant to outscore Eleby in a high-scoring environment tonight and you get to save a few bucks.
Matt McDonaldBGSUMIAOH500015.58650014.71
The cheapest starting QB on the slate could end up being a popular play because of the inexpensive salaries for your Super-Flex. As a three-score underdog to Miami, we know Bowling Green will be trailing for most of this game and be forced to pass more to catch up. That already gives a positive game script to McDonald. Though his game logs during conference play are very inconsistent with some ugly performances, McDonald did put up 36 DK points just two games ago and had 21 DK in another. That would make him a smash value.

Also Consider:

Kaleb Eleby -- Western Michigan ($7,200 DK / $10,000 FD)

Kurtis Rourke -- Ohio ($6,300 DK / $9,000 FD)

RUNNING BACKS

Bryant KobackTOLOHIO820022.381100019.78
Koback is in a tier of his own at RB tonight and he’s close to a cash lock without any other top MAC rushers in action. The Toledo lead back has rushed for 100+ yards in three straight games and has a pair of TDs in back-to-back contests coming into tonight. He’s now put up 30+ DK points in three of the last five games and should see enough volume to do something similar here - even against a tougher Ohio rush defense.
Sean TylerWMUEMU770017.29950015.78
Though he splits work with Jefferson in the WMU backfield, Tyler has been very productive during conference play. He’s got seven total TDs over the past four games - including three last week - and now gets to face a soft EMU rush defense that’s allowing 5.22 ypc and nearly 200 rush yards per game vs. MAC opponents. He may be more of a high-upside GPP play on this slate, but the recent TD production is hard to match.
La'Darius JeffersonWMUEMU450013.68870012.18
While Tyler might be the flashier guy in WMU’s backfield, Jefferson is plenty involved while he splits touches pretty evenly with Tyler. He’s properly priced on FD, but Jefferson is way too cheap on DK and should be popular in cash because of the huge discount. This is a guy who’s normally seeing 15-20 carries and putting up double-digit DFS points in closer games like the one that WMU will be in tonight.
Keyon MozeeMIAOHBGSU43006.7570006.37
Unfortunately the Miami backfield is split between five different ball-carriers right now and it’s hard to pinpoint one each week. However, this matchup is too good to ignore on a short slate - especially since the Redhawks are a big favorite and likely running the ball a ton in the second half. Bowling Green’s defense is giving up 220 rush yards and three rush TDs per game during MAC play. One or multiple Miami RBs will have a good game statistically and Mozee is the best bet to do so. He leads the team in carries, rushing yards and rush TDs thus far and is more consistently involved than his backfield mates.

Also Consider:

De’Montre Tuggle -- Ohio ($6,700 DK / $8,300 FD)

Samson Evans -- Eastern Michigan ($5,900 DK / $8,000 FD)

Jaxson Kincaide -- Western Michigan ($4,100 DK / $6,000 FD)

Micah Kelly -- Toledo ($3,700 DK / $5,700 FD)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Wide Receivers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Jack SorensonMIAOHBGSU920023.28960018.79
The price tags are hefty, but Sorenson has been worth every single penny since #MACtion began. He’s put up at least 22 DK points in six straight games (all vs. conference opponents) with either 100+ yards, multiple TDs or a combination of both in all those contests. The only worry is the blowout factor vs. Bowling Green tonight, but Sorenson could easily put up his numbers before that even comes into play.
Skyy MooreWMUEMU650021.56900016.55
Moore is properly priced on FD, but he’s too cheap on DK and will likely be popular on that slate. WMU’s top wideout oddly only had two catches for 46 yards and 6.6 DK points last week in a game that ended up 45-40 on the scoreboard. Beforehand, though, he had at least seven receptions in seven straight games as a big part of this offense. Expect a safe floor in a high total matchup tonight where Moore’s talent will lead to a bounceback performance.
Hassan BeydounEMUWMU620017.97870014.1
EMU’s receiving corps is a three-headed monster now with Tanner Knue back in the mix. You can pair up one or two of Knue, Beydoun or Drummond with Bryant on this slate to get exposure to a pass-heavy offense that’s involved in the highest total of the slate. Beydoun, though, likely offers the safer floor among them as he’s the shorter-yardage target for Bryant and has nine-plus receptions in three of the last four games.
Isiah CoxOHIOTOL550012.59710010.15
Cox began the year extremely quiet on the receiving front, but he’s starting to pick it up with #MACtion in full swing. After failing to eclipse three catches in a game all season, Cox now has at least four grabs and 66 yards in three straight and he’s scored twice in both of the last two games. He’s still fairly affordable considering the recent production and is worth a shot in GPP’s. The matchup vs. Toledo is a tough one, but Ohio will likely be trailing late and need to throw to keep up.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Jaylen HallWMUEMU470013.78730010.56
You could also look at Corey Crooms for cheap exposure to the Western Michigan offense, but Hall is a bit cheaper and can provide similar production. With 4-5 catches and 60+ yards in five straight games, Hall’s DFS floor is higher than you’d think for someone priced in this range. Though he hasn’t been scoring TDs as often as Crooms, he’s still plenty involved as a pass-catcher with WMU often playing in high-scoring matchups. That’ll be the case again tonight.
Austin OsborneBGSUMIAOH410010.4358006.18
There aren’t many value WRs worth rostering in cash, but Osborne could be a nice salary-saver with a safer floor than you’d think. The Bowling Green pass-catcher has at least five catches in eight of 10 games thus far and is usually a weekly top target for QB Matt McDonald. With his team normally trailing (like tonight), the reception volume for Osborne is a lot better than most in this salary range.

Also Consider:

Tanner Knue -- Eastern Michigan ($6,900 DK / $8,200 FD)

Dylan Drummond -- Eastern Michigan ($5,700 DK / $7,900 FD)

Corey Crooms -- Western Michigan ($5,200 DK / $8,500 FD)

Mac Hippenhammer -- Miami OH ($5,100 DK / $7,500 FD)

Isaiah Winstead -- Toledo ($4,200 DK / $6,000 FD)

Cameron Odom -- Ohio ($3,900 DK / $6,200 FD)
