Welcome back! As usual, every week, the weekly waiver wire report will help you target some players that you should be adding, or monitoring, on the waiver wire. You can’t win a championship with the team you drafted, which means, you’ll need to be active on the waiver wire to help replace injured players, and other who are just not getting the job done. Let’s get right into it for this week.
Andre Burakovsky - Colorado Avalanche - Right Wing/Left Wing
With injuries piling up for the Avs, Burakovsky moves up to the top line with MacKinnon. He has 8 points in his last 4 games since getting the promotion, so you will want to get him while you can. He is owned in under 40% on both Yahoo, and ESPN, so there is a good chance he is available in your league too. Keep in mind however, that his value is likely going to be directly related to his time with MacKinnon, so if you see that change you will want to pivot away from him.
