Yeesh. There are so many good options on this week’s slate that it’s making things awfully difficult here on my end. The following list of the top plays at each pricing level for me. My choices. That doesn’t mean I don’t like other guys who are in the same pricing tier or that I won’t play someone I don’t recommend here, but with so many options, we can’t play them all. Well, we can, but I like to limit the number of lineups I play. In any event, here we go…

High-Priced Talent

Antonio Brown, PIT – If you’re paying up, there’s no one better than AB84. He’s an elite talent and the Dolphins rank 30th in the league against opposing top wideouts, giving up almost 100 yards per game to the position.

Allen Robinson, JAC – Should have a solid day against a Bears defense that gives up an average of 25.8 points to wide receivers and ranks 27th in the league against opposing WR1.

A.J. Green, CIN – It won’t be an easy game for him as the Patriots will likely focus heavily on him, but there’s a reason New England ranks just 20th against opposing top receivers and allow a little more than 90 yards per game to them.

Jordy Nelson, GB – He’s clicking with Aaron Rodgers just like the good ol’ days and now faces the 25th ranked pass defense of the Cowboys. The elusive wideout should easily find his way into the end zone.

DeAndre Hopkins, HOU – Ownership percentages will be low as many are giving up on Nuk due to Brock Osweiler’s inefficiency under center. But facing the 30th ranked pass defense of the Colts who give up almost 85 yards per game to opposing WR1 shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Pricey But Affordable

Kelvin Benjamin, CAR – If Cam Newton is back, this should be a no-brainer as the Saints pass defense only ranks as well as 26th because they didn’t play last week. Even with Derek Anderson under center this should be a strong play.

Alshon Jeffery, CHI – He’s been limited through the first few weeks, but he’s healthier and now faces a Jags pass defense that will be focusing heavy on Cam Meredith. While the Jags pass D ranks seventh, they rank 21st in the league against the opposing WR1, so look for the Bears to take advantage.

Julian Edelman, NE – The foot issue may have held him back last week, but now facing the Bengals who struggle against WR2s and slot receivers should make this game with Tom Brady a much more memorable one.

Willie Snead, NO – Most look to Brandin Cooks to break out again and while I like him, the lower cost of Snead may prove more beneficial. Carolina is giving up over 100 yards per game to the outside receivers and Snead should get his share of downfield bombs in this one.

Michael Crabtree, OAK – Loving Crabtree this week as the Chiefs struggle against WR2s and slot receivers. The focus will be on Cooper and that will work out just fine for Crabtree who is seeing killer red zone looks as well.

Solid Value

Jeremy Maclin, KC – He’s the best the Chiefs have and the Raiders pass defense ranks 25th in the league against opposing WR1 and are allowing roughly 98 yards per game to them.

Jarvis Landry, MIA – The Fins will be playing from behind as usual and that means plenty of volume for Landry. He’ll be all over the field and should be a PPR monster this week against the Steelers.

Emmanuel Sanders, DEN – Whether it’s Trevor Siemien or Paxton Lynch, Sanders is the new favorite target on this team and he will deliver as such. The Chargers rank 29th against WR1 and are giving up almost 95 yards per game to them. He’ll have his way with them, especially in the second half.

Sterling Shepard, NYG – If the Giants use Shepard out of the slot for much of the day, he should do very well as a PPR machine. The Ravens handle the outside receivers well, but rank 30th in the league against the slot.

Michael Floyd, ARI – While most look for Larry Fitzgerald, the return of Carson Palmer should help Floyd’s value in a major way. The Jets pass defense is a mess and they struggle mightily against the outside wideouts, including a rank of 30th in the league against the WR2.

Bargain Hunting

Cole Beasley, DAL – All about volume here again. Beasley will see plenty of targets and the fact that he lines up both in the slot and on the outside will help immensely against the Packers. Look for him to spend most of his day on the outside though as the Packers rank 31st in the league against them.

Tavon Austin, LA – Targets and gimmicks are what Austin knows and against the Lions’ 31st ranked pass defense, he should have a field day. Don’t expect huge yardage numbers, but he’s always good for one of those two-score games each season. This could be it.

Nelson Agholor, PHI – The Redskins rank dead last against WR2s and that could put Agholor in line for a nice long TD. He’s a GPP play at best, but given the Skins’ injury issues in the secondary and that Josh Norman will be locked on Jordan Matthews, Agholor could be a nice surprise.

Michael Thomas, NO – Drew Brees loves Thomas’ size and speed. He has locked onto his taller receivers in recent games and should do the same here. Don’t expect a lot of catches or yards, but he’s probably good for a touchdown this week.

Kamar Aiken, BAL – If Aiken is coming out of the slot all day, he should fare very well against the Giants who were torched by Randall Cobb last week. Joe Flacco might look to serve up jump balls to Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman in the end zone, but Aiken will be the guys marching them up and down the field. If he can break just one, he could have a big day.
