2022 Player Outlook
Ryan made five starts for the Twins last season, posted a 4.05 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and a 30 percent strikeout rate. His five percent walk rate was solid, and he lived in the zone last year, as seen by his 54.1 percent zone rate. His arsenal is dominated by his fastball, as he threw it nearly two-thirds of the time. He throws his fastball a ton, so it will be interesting to see if he uses his secondary stuff more if he can add to that strikeout rate. However, I won't be using draft capital on Ryan to figure out if that happens or not. Ryan will likely post an ERA in the low-to-mid 4s with over one strikeout per inning.
