2022 Player Outlook

You won't mistake Luis Arraez for Miguel Sano, as their offensive profiles couldn't be more different. Arraez simply puts the bat on the ball, and over his past two qualifying seasons, he's posted a whiff rate in the 100th percentile both seasons. In every year he's been in the bigs, he's posted a zone contact rate of at least 92 percent. Arraez is a one trick pony in fantasy. He is a career .313 hitter, but in 245 games, he has just six home runs and is 4-for-8 on the bases. He will help your team's batting average, but he is a liability in the other four categories.
