2022 Player Outlook
Rogers put together a very strong season in 2021. He wasn’t a consistent source of saves, but he still recorded 13 and finished with 30 holds and a 2.22 ERA. The reality is that he’s not the great source for strikeouts. So with that in mind, it may not be in the best interest of fantasy players to look to him for production in 2022. The seven wins, 13 saves, and 30 holds will be hard to replicate in 2022 and his 6.96 career K/9 leaves a lot to be desired. He’ll likely get plenty of work and plenty of holds, but he’s third in line for saves at the moment and most sites project some regression in terms of ERA and WHIP.
