2023 Player Outlook
Fantasy managers will be able to take advantage of Varsho’s unique blend of power and speed at the catcher position for at least one more season (he’s also eligible as an outfielder as well). In his first full big league season Varsho hit 27 home runs and stole 16 bases, but his .235 BA and .302 OBP left a lot to be desired. With Alejandro Kirk and Danny Jansen expected to split the catching duties for the Blue Jays this season it's unlikely that Varsho will get enough playing time behind the plate in order to maintain his catcher eligibility for next season so enjoy his multi-position eligibility while you can.
