2024 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Verdugo’s yearly production has become very predictable. Home run totals in the low to mid-teens, a handful of stolen bases and runs scored in the 75 to 85 range is what we’ve come to expect from Verdugo year after year. He has consistently hit for a high batting average, but it’s been declining for the past three seasons. He batted .308 during the abbreviated 2020 season, but last season he batted just .264, largely because his BAA fastballs (which he usually crushes) fell by .084 last season.

2024 Outlook: He should hit a couple of more home runs as a left-handed hitter in Yankee Stadium but not much else should change. He probably a better real life than fantasy player.
