2022 Player Outlook
In 106 games in 2021, Diaz posted career high’s in home runs, runs, and RBI while appearing in just 106 games. He definitely performed much better at home than on the road in 2021. He hit .289 in Coors Field compared to just .203 on the road, but his 18 home runs were divided evenly between Coors and the road games. Diaz will get most starts behind the dish with Dom Nunez getting some starts as well. Diaz likely isn’t much of a target in one-catcher leagues but he’s absolutely in play in two-catcher formats for his power potential.
