2022 Player Outlook
Canha played a career high 141 games last season for the A's, hitting .231 with 93 runs, 17 home runs, 61 RBI, 12 stolen bases and an OPS of .746. Often used a platoon player given his numbers against left-handed pitching, he was a very servicable piece for fantasy managers given his consistent role in the productive Oakland lineup. He comes to the Mets this offseason where he likely finds himself back in a bit of a platoon role given the outfield depth the Mets have on their roster, especially from the left-side of the plate where Canha is likely to start over them when a southpaw is on the mound. Right now Canha is being taken among the Top 70 outfielders in fantasy baseball with an average ADP putting him somewhere around pick 223.
