2023 Player Outlook
Injuries (wrist, toe) limited LeMahieu to 125 games last season. His OBP and contact skills remained elite but LeMahieu’s .261 BA was almost 40 points below his career average. His xBA suggested that his quality of contact should have resulted in slightly more success at the plate but three straight seasons of declining Average Exit Velocity and Hard Hit rate expect continued regression from his .297 career BA and career-high 26 HRs in 2019. LeMahieu should continue to be a good resource for runs and his first, second, and third base eligibility make him worthy of a roster spot in all fantasy baseball league formats.
